Ok here's the low down

• I'm using a 150 HPS and 2, 15watt floros(Just because i have them)
• I have 4 plants that are 8 inches tall
• I am growing them in a 17 inch long 13 inch wide square container

When should i start flowering these bad boys?

Any help would be appreciated.

after 2 months i think is the normal time, are you going to grow these plants up to a screen? if you do i would let the screen fill up and then flower and you could have a nice sized screen of bud when your done.

depends- how high is your grow area? You could flower now and it would work, or you could wait a while and get bigger plants-more bud (longer wait), but from what i know with a 150 watter you probably wouldn't want to let them get too tall before flowering.
*By the way how much heat does your 150 watt hps give off- I'm planning on getting an hps and 150 watts seems like it would be the right size for my grow.

Actually the 150 doesn't give off too much heat, my grow room temp is usually around 78 degree's, but i have a fairly small room, and now i have 2 150's and combined they put off quite a bit of heat. That's why the next time i grow i will build a sheild for the two bulbs to go into

Well i am going to make my own hood because i want to make one that will cover my grow space. Another reason is because it will be easier to handle. And less heat
