k im growing ScrOG and i have a question about how far to put the screen away from the light, cause if it is to close to the light and the plant grows up to the screen, i would think that it would get burnt, any information is greatly welcomed, my grow info is in the personal grow diary area if you wana know

About 8-12" above the planting medium. See the similiar thread by morpheus305.

Here is a thread with some good info and links for ScROG.

As close as you can get the light without burning the plants. That old rule still applies
This what you mean, dub?

Hey v-dub...just re-read your grow diary thread to get all the facts, just the facts ....and this is what I have come up with......

AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET THE LIGHT W/O BURNING THE PLANTS!!()

That is how far above the netting they should be
Either monitor the temp with a thermometer or put your hand between light and plant....too hot for hand...light is too close (thats the old rule I was talking about )....but...don't worry too much...a 100 watt can get pretty close....I have some 70 watts that can be within about 5 or 6". Just keep an eye on 'em.

ya im going to when they start growing, its just if i put that screen up and start filling it out, and find it it starts to get to hot, it will be hard to move the screen, and my light can not move anymore higher. i was just a little worried but i have about 16" grow room so i should be fine...
thanks guys
