i dont know much about it as im going to try it for the first time on my plants when they get taller, but the reason for me using ScrOG is becuase my grow space is only 2 and a half feet tall, only about 16 inches of grow room, so im going to grow the plants up into a screen thus cutting down the need for hidth and they will be able to still grow but horizontal insted of vertical along the screen.
to answer if you get more im not really sure, i have heard of people filling the screen up with only a couple plants and then flowering, thus giving them a whole screen of nice bud being baked by my HPS baby! man i cant wait~!

both techniques were designed to lower the amount of time to grow. they are set up so that you have a lot of small plants, held up by the screen or not. They flower small, and so you have only about a 5 days veg period (depending on strain). Then you flower and you end up with a lot of smaller plants sooner instead of a few larger plants later.

so im getting the same amount of bud in a shorter amount of time eh.. sounds good to me !! .. thanks alot , also to vedub69 the plant is meant to grow through the screen thats why you use poltry neting cause it hase large holes then u fill each hole with a cola to maximize your space and bud the net is not ment to hold the plant down...

yes but the screen still holds it down, if it didnt the plant would just go up up up, and in my case that can not happen, so it will also be training it to grow horizontal.

lol your still thinking of a different screen , your thinking of the kind that goes on windows .. the kind that is used for SCROG is poultry neting/screen it has larg 2inch hole so colas can fit through.. but i guess u could use window screen to hold ur plant down ? never tried it..

actually ... if you wanted to train you MJ to grow sideways i suggest slowly bending the plant horizantal an tie it to the floor or something with some floral wire or string an everyday try to bend it a bit more but do this in small incraments an he will be growing laying down in no time , or you can use the same idea but intead use a heaveyer gage wire an stick it in the grow medium right next to the base of the plant an tie the large wire to the main grow shoot of the plant with rubber bands or strips of sock elastic or something that will stretch as the plant grows an slowly bend the wire to your desired place an the plant has no choice but to go with it .. hope i helped..

In your reply on here you mention 5 days of vegging?
I have 6 healthy Northern Lights strains and they are about
14 days old and 4-6" tall with only a pair 5 fingered leaves.
You're telling me I can flower these? I'll post a pic up in Images Gallery under my first post 2 weeks ago(Day 4) and you can tell me if it's time, being Northern lights is a fast maturing strain. Later!

Are they from seed?
Either way yes, you can flower them. If it is from seed, I would grow it out for a while. I use clones, so they think they are as old as the mother, so I don't have to grow them very long. Once they are rooted I veg them for 5-15 days (depending on the strain). I have had the ones that vegged for only 5 days shoot up to like 4.5' over the first 3 weeks of flowering. Others hardly shoot at all. If you have NL, grow it for a while, it grows bushy and won't stretch that much when flowering.
