![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Can the Widow strains be used for SOG? I have access to the Great White Shark...is this suitable? My grow space is roughly 3x3x4 with the light already in place. My light is a 400 watt HPS. All hydro of course. If the Widow's are unsuitable ...what is consistently the best strain for SOG(yes,I know, that's a loaded question). I'm looking for a good mix of potency and yield. I am ,of course, interested in quick flowering. Although, I am willing to wait an extra week for more/better bud. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks. C.C.

![]() | hehehe.....mr yank ( ) Well, anyway.....I still want to check some strainbase info......but....you want to look for Indica strains. They are bred to be shorter, stockier plants. It's a start... ![]() cy

![]() | Well CC.....I have looked at strainbase info and have concluded that....there are just too damn many to list. So...I am gonna give you a couple of links and you can pick some strains for yourself. Bear in mind that you want to look for indica, or indica dominant strains that mature and finish early. Look for short plant heights. There are literally hundreds of strains that would work. OK...here are the links....one is from CannabisCulture ( Marc Emery's magazine) and his seed bank.... http://www.emeryseeds.com/seeds-0.html and the other is from the Operation Overgrow magazine (not related to us ) http://www.overgrow.com/strainbase/index.php Look around those strainbanks. If nothing else...you might learn something! Knowledge is Power cy ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm think that I'm going to go with the "great white shark". The flowering time is a little longer than most of the other Indica-hybrids, but I'm willing to wait for the quality that this strain is famous for. I've been told that I can keep the height down with a pinch here and a pinch there. The "overgrow" link was very helpful...thanks! Overall, I think I should do Ok. I'll post a link to the "my cannabis images" forum once I get everything up and running...shouldn't be too long(about 2-3 weeks). Again... Thanks Mr. Yank (he he)..... C.C.

How can I handle the heat problem from my 400 watt HPS in my 3x3x4 grow area? It is a converted dresser that has had the front piece removed to allow me total access to the interior. Should I vent from the top or from the side? Thanks... C.C.

Have an intake vent at the bottom of the side to bring in fresh, cooler air. And have an exhaust vent up high to vent out the hot air. Fans at each of these locations help establish a good airflow...and a small fan inside to stir it around and strengthen your stems. Read those grow guides....all this info is very basic and can be found in any grow guide you read. Good luck Be looking for those pics ![]() cy ![]()
