![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ***Cajunyank: If I should have posted this under the already active thread please let me know. I'm concerned that my 400 watt hps will be too hot for my scrog setup. My space is 3x3x4 with the light already in place. I bought three fans for air circulation(thanks CY)...will this be enough to vent all of the excess heat? There is no heat shield or glass covering the light. Should I downgrade my light or upgrade my space? Can anyone help me? Thanks... C.C.

![]() | since this was about the same project...you could have added this to that thread..but....no biggie..dont worry about it... All you gotta do is monitor the temp inside. For 3 or 4 bucks..you can get a thermometer/barometer to hang inside your space. Ideal temps would be about 60's to low 70's at night and mid 70's to mid 80's during lights on. If your temp is out of range..then worry about what you need to do. Several options....the two you have already mentioned and also upgading your ventilation. Also...be careful with that unshielded light....especially if you mist your plants. Any water hits that hot, pressurized bulb and BOOM!!! Seriously!!! cy ![]()
