![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | V scrog is like any other scrog, except that the sides of the screen angle up. This is done to keep the light intensity even across the screen. Its also done to allow more screen area. What Im doing now is like one except that the center 8"-10" of the screen is flat (well close to flat) then it angles up from there. I checked it lastnight with my light meter (goes to 2000lumens) and it stays pegged at all locations on my screen. there is also such a thing a cylinder scrog where the screen is wrapped around the lights (allowing 4" all the way around for the cfs). little more difficult to do but saves alot of space.

![]() ![]() | Anybody with enough room to the sides should angle the sides up to stay within the prime distance from the light. The bulb is curved, so is the growing plane to compensate. V Scrog, thats a good one, but still just ScrOG.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | do a search on OG for cylinder scrog. There is definatly 1 good journal over there showing it. I believe the dude got an OZ from one using 2 CFs. His was done with the bulb and screen horizontal. not sure how the vertical thing would work, but its the same principle.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | tis all a little too NASA for me I've seen aero setups with a cylinder scrog. Some yahoo on line was selling a large drum aero scrog setup that rotated on a big gearing system around a few flouros for something like $10K. It was straight out of Stanley Kubrick's 2001 Space Oddesy If I can find it again I will post ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah on my 1st indoor i def dont want high maintaince. ive just got a dimpled reflector off an old hps that would fit well in my closet. now im tryna figure if its worth just making it a normal horizontal grow and training it. Im using 1evl maybe 2 in flower, and orignally was planning placing both vertically, one under the other as i heard fluros esp lose effectiveness after a few inches, vertically in a Height: 40" Width: 16" Depth: 20" would mean no part of the plant would be more then a foot away with chicken wire stopping the light getting too close would mean all areas were covered. i really dont know which is best, and need to make a decision b4 its too late to train 1 way or another?
