Awake204 is starting to vegetate.
Question

Im still a little confused on the proper way to train the plant to the Scrog screen. Do you place the screen over the plant, and then bend the stems under the screen, and secure them with plastic twist ties? Or do pull the tips up through the screen and 'weave' them through? (over, under, over, under, etc)

Talking scroggin

well, you are correct on both accounts. normally you would place the screen above the plant if you had started flowering when they were small, around 8~10", allowing them to grow up threw the screen and either weave them up and down threw the fencing, or you couls twist tie them down to the screen, which would enable you make changes later.
or if you grew your plant too tall to start the intitial weave or tieing, then you can place the screen over the plants, and carefully move/turn/twist the plant's branches accordingly to what you needed. this last meathod is similiar to super-cropping. the whole idea behing scroggin and super croppin is to increase the light distribution over the entire plant, rather than just the tops. this will help you get the most out of 150hps lamp, and the harvest.

this images shows the whole plantplaced under the screen when then plant was about 17" tall. screen is 22"x16".

and the result of allowing the light to penetrate evenly over the plant.

Thumbs up Cool!

No wonder your name is LabRat! Look at that setup! Is that a hydroponic-bubbler for a single plant? Nice idea!
Thanks for the great pics, they describe exactly my current scenario (one plant, about 17" tall), and that's exactly what I wanted to do. Now I know how!
Thanks man!
