fireitup is beginning to sprout.

It seems to me that you can scrog without the screen. Just
tie down instead. The screen prolly makes for more horizontal, longer branches since it gets endless support. The ties only support the branch horizontaly at one location on the branch. Kinda seems like you could almost get the same results though.

No Screen

Hey Dude!
You're prolly right about going without the screen. I think it would be a bit more difficult and perhaps take more time, but I think you could apply many of the princilpes used in Bonsai and get similar results. I have been doing bonsai for many years now and have long thought about applying this to MJ cultivation. If you give it a shot, please let us know how it turns out.
