![]() | You are in a similar situation to mine so I will try to tackle this. I am growing a SCROG of two girls in pots under a 270w Son Agro HPS bulb. 30 inches is gonna be tough though. You will get like 14" from the screen to the light. This might allow okay for 6" of bud. You then only have 10" of stem though. So this is your plan. Two pots of soil with the soil filled 6" high. Put your screen 10" up from that and flower from clones when they hit it. Train your buds under the screen, I think super-cropping will help here and the doubling of height you get in flowering will fill the screen after you go 12/12. You are then left with 14" from the screen to your light. Your buds will fill maybe 6" of that. The remaining 8" is a little less than you'd like but hey, where are you gonna get more inches from? I also suggest that the 270 Son Agro bulb is a great winner. There's an RCA (I think) knock-off out there as well. The added blue spectrum did well for my grow. It should fit safely into your standard 250 watt HPS socket. So mods. Did I do okay, is that an accurate plan?
