| I recently had to move my grow to my father-in-laws house. I took the plants first, They where about a foot tall so i did'nt have the problems that you have, but moving my closet was abit scary  , it didn't quite fit in the car, so it was hanging out the back with some rope holding it in, the only problem was that i have vents/fans in the top and bottom, you could tell what it was a mile away.Luckily i didnt see any feds If i'd got pulled over they would have found lights, plant food, fans and everything else i had in there

| If you move them in a box, figure out a way to secure the bottom of the pot in the box, like with pieces of foam or wadded up towels or something. Otherwise the pot will slide around inside the box, maybe crush your plants when you put them on the seat (which is invariably sloped backwards at a somewhat steep angle). A van would be best for that move - you can get a uhaul van for $35/day or less midweek DONT let the movers move them - no offense to movers but they don't exactly hire Nobel lauriates for that job. The last thing you want is someone to catch a whiff of skunky bud, make a note of your address, and come back to rob you when you're bringing over another load. Also, I'd wait a while to see what your neighbors are going to be like. Some are great, some complete wackos. See how they deal with small things, talk to others in the neighborhood - if there's any problems they'll usually surface pretty fast... ...You guys are still feeding this post eh? Milagro:My favorite Spaniard, what's poppin'? The move is still a month or so away. And yes I think they've gotten bigger, the stretch hit about a week ago and boy did they stretch, gotta be 5 and half feet now...  Dunno if I can find a bag big enough to fit 'em in, night have to put one on the bottom and over the top. SFL and GH:Ditto on the movers, don't plan on letting them get anywhere near my plants. I'm not too crazy about puttin 'em in a box either, I might just end up carrying them by hand at like 4 in the morning the 20 minute walk it take to get to my new digs. Maybe try and squeeze them into the back seat of the car...how long you guys think I can have them bent before irreversible damage occurs? Still figuring things out and greatly appreciating all advice tossed my way... Cheers

I agree with ctown and the wardrobe boxes. A couple years ago we moved across town in a big moving truck and I got one of those wardrobe boxes for my 4ft lady. It worked great except I didn't secure the box to well in the truck and because it was so top heavy it ended up falling kinda diagonially against the side of the truck. Anyway when I took it out it was fine except it had started falling outta the hydroton becuase of the rough handling. So if you are gonna put it in a big truck like that or somethin just make sure it's secured real good. But otherwise they should be ok. when I moved all my stuff in the house the neighbors started coming over to say hi and when I had that big wardrobe box in my arms all by myself one of them was outside and asked if I needed a hand yeah right I told them I was fine, if only they knew what was in that thing
