Whadaya guys think about the bagging them from the pot up idea?

Hey Mods, could you guys merge this thread with the "moving while growing" thread i started up a while ago....just makes more sense to have it all in one thread.

You'll need some support like garden canes if you wanna put bags over them. i nearly snaped one that just had a bag over it.

Just use three bits o cane in a tripod type shape and it'll be fine

Aren't they great?

They can do anything.

Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

I love this place.

I have relocated a few times in the middle of op's usually when I have been in week 3 or 4 of flowering. I use cardboard box's to cover the plants and stuff the bottoms of the box's with newspaper bunched up to provide support around the plants. For larger plants i use larger box's and simply write stuff like 'clothes',etc on the outside of the box's. I don't use bags as the plants tend to sweat inside them (depending on their size and if they have colas or not) I hire a truck and move myself carrying all the op out of the old place and into the new one. I box up lights, use the tanks to store the nutes and all the pumps, etc once they have been cleaned and dryed. Everything is box'd up and double taped so it just looks like a regular move in...simple

baggin them from the pot up (kinda like how x-mas trees are when they're tied up, branches up)
Hey SFL, I'd be putting the bags under them kinda. I'm hoping having the branches upwards so there's no preasure on the nodes will be safer snap-age wise...

Yeah i get ya, but wouldn't the bags fall off if they are under them? it might expose the tops enough for someone to see some big colas poking out the top .

I'd go with OzGrowa and the boxes if i could find some big enough

Hi Eephus

I moved my grow once.
plants were about 4 feet tall I was young and stupid I just shoved them in the back seat of my car and drove them over.
I would say they definitly need to be covered as a guy seen them in my car and gave me a friendly smile and a thimbs up.

I agree mid day is inconspicuious.
If your seen moving something at 4 am people tend to wonder what you are doing.

just my 2 cents.
happy moving.....

Well I move tomorrow so it looks like they're going in the back seat of the car...no time to look for boxes. My plant moving plans got messed up a bit, can't get into the new place until tomorrow and I was gonna bring 'em there today...so tomorrow it is...today is dedicated to packing boxes .

The man with the van can't help in the evening, after work?. I'd agree that daytime would be best, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. The reefer box was a great idea, btw. I never thought of that. Although, a man carrying a wardrobe box would be less suspicious, than someone humping a reefer box around, I guess Anyway... good luck, whichever way you do it.
