Seeds To Private Mail Box

Alright my budy has a Private mail box. I want to order some seeds and have them sent to it. How safe is this? What kind of trouble can you get in? Can your house get searched? If its not 100% I will not risk the trouble But Ive read about nobody getting busted so I thought Id ask. Any way to make this 100% safe? Thanks

get a po box with cash and fake name. have someone else open the box. have someone else get the packages. all depends on your level of paranoia.

You cannot get a PO Box without photo ID.
I even had to list the names of everyone who might receive mail in my box. Filling out the form was quite the experience!

Nothing is 100% safe Resin_king.
But I have had seeds shipped to my home, and I've had seeds shipped to my PO Box..... both ways worked fine.

I've always had them shiped to my house, and never had a problem. I always disassemble my grow room( just in case) and leave the seeds unopened on the counter for about 2-3 weeks. If the cops come to our house, just give them the unopened package.
Go to the seed bank section and read. There are a lot of good ideas there. Most of them say to have them sent to a friends house who doesn't grow, but , I find that nobody wants to take the risk, but when the harvest comes in , they are always willing to smoke it with you.

Nah man Loose Lips Sink ships Im not going to jail over some seeds so sending to a buddys house is out of the question. Yea you have to have a photo id when getting a p.m.b or p.o box. Can they search your house for seeds?

Yes they can search your house for seeds. They see the seed as a plant. As for getting a private mail box I don't think that is necessary. This is what I would do order the seeds use either a money order or Westeren Union. THe seedstore should have a way for you to pay cash for it. Give them a FAKE name and have it mailed to your address. Like the person who said just keep it on the table for a few weeks had the right idea. That way if you get searched for some ODD reason. All you have to say is that it is junk mail. And having a FAKE name on it makes it MUCH harder for them to charge you with anything. Just my thaughts.

Wouldn't this also heighten the percentage that a package might not reach you at all, considering the mismatch of the fake name to the real one on your mailbox.. ?

Would it not be more beneficial to use your real name...?
....considering that, should customs intercept the items, the usual outcome is a letter sent to the address where the items were intended to be delivered, stating the reasons for interception and with whom to contest it..
(although you don't want to pursue that last part.)

Any opinions on this..?

I have never read any accounts of anyone being busted for buying seeds..... most of us have done it (collectively) a thousand times. Worst case scenario is you lose a bit of cash if the seedbank you choose is less than trustworthy.
Stick to the better seedbanks and order without fear.... under your name, your dogs name, or to a P.O. Box.

I know that the letter carriers I have spoken to work from the address on the parcel- not the name.
Ask your letter carrier!
