well up untill now i 've pretty much no woried myself with the idea that my electric bill may send me to prison, after all my 400watt hps is only slightly more consumong then my pc, however my brother just got a job with one of the electric companies here and when he went to hes induction i was honoured and worried to hear that we all got a mention

it appears that the electric companies over here concern themselves with mj cultivation, so much so that they tell their meter reading guys to look out for signs of a grow such as myler and lights in cupboards and to report these sightings.

the reason they gave him for their interest in us growers is that they believe that we are the type of no good drug dealing gangsters that also steal electricity for our elaborate setups.

this leads me to believe that if u pay your bills they have no interest in you, unless ofcourse u r up to no good and the police start asking about you.

I have a perfect new way to explain my new excessive power use. I now have a new hottub on my back deck close to the meter. This should write oof the fact that I have a 1000 watt MH and a 1000 watt HPS bulb in my basement.

B.C. Hydro gives its employees a bonus if they turn in grow opperations. That is what my aunts husband told me and he works for them. He might have been trying to just scare me though. Thats the kind of guy he is. Sometimes he can be a real dip s**t.

I guess that's one advantage to new meter-reading technogies where
they just drive down the street in their van and wirelessly query the
meters for their readings. They don't have to come in the house.
