That looks a little dangerous to me. 20 small holes in that bucket doesn't look like it's nearly enough for intake. I'd be very worried about overheating that fan motor and starting a fire. Just a few words of caution.

![]() | Sounds very neat Biker. One thing I'm curious on, Soil Moist, is that a water absorber, right? I know here in Australia that is called Damprid and I use it to dry my test buds. Maybe your neutraliser not only cleans the air, but also helps dehumidify the air.? perhaps? Cheers, PSi

Same basic concept but a little different..... 5 Gallon Drum with lid 12 V power supply (500 MilliAmps) 12 V large computer fan (35-80 CFM) A container 1 litter (1/4 gallon for our US friends) ONA or like air deodorizer Gel Chips (Crystalls) 1)In the container lid you cut a hole to house the fan ( I used a duct reducer so I over the fan could feed the out take Through Flex tube) Fasten the fan to the Lid. Use a bit of foam under the corners of the fan to aviod vibration. 2) Fill container with Gel crysatls add water and oderizer mixture. 3) Drill holes around the bottom of the 5 Gallon ( Drill as many as you wish with varies with the CFM of Fan) 4) Place Gel/Oderizer in center of bucket 5) Attach lid with Fan/power supply attached and sealed out flex hose ( I have a sealed room the the oderized air is not realease in the room. I vent it out) 6) Plug fan in , Vent flex house out of room....and your laughing...HARD! 7)Makes sure you monitor the liquid level in the gel you don't want it to dry up. Mine I fill about once every 3 weeks now and about every week and a half in the summer. What nice about this is - The fan is quiet - The fan is very low power consumption I will try to post a few pics over the next couple days.

![]() | couldn't you subsititute just using ONA Gel in side of your bucket, instead of using the soil moist? Do you think this setup could clean up the smell of an attic for 2 weeks or more. Sweet setup! All of a sudden in stinks like the chronic, and I have no time for stinky Question? Any advice. Everything vented into attic. I think its not too big( Not enought room to stand) should I add some sort charcoal filter to my bucket for more air cleaning...or has some one all ready done so. Help I need stinkbusters ![]()

FYI: I haven't built this yet 1013arleen: the soilmoist slows the evaporation process so your ONA lasts longer. I would experiment with the ratio, as I believe a higher soil moist content will neutralize less, but last longer. supasonic: if you want to jettison the power supply, Radio Shack usually sells both 12V DC and 120V AC computer-type fans in the same sizes (4" 65CFM, for one, comes in 120V) S2: good point. A computer fan might be the best option PSi: yes, 20 holes drilled as in the pix is not enough intake for a large fan. CORRECTION: there are not 32 cups in a quart. it's 32oz per quart, so a quart of ONA should last about 4 months.

![]() | PHP Code: pretty much every garden store would sell it. Instead of the ona, I'm gonna try activatied charcoal, see how that works - maybe in combination with the ona.
