which is safer?

Im waiting on some beans but i took a moment to think about my first grow.

Basically to Grow or to buy? growing your own means ur own quality which is awsome.

but buying decreases a level of responsibility and you probably know what i mean

but cost effective, which one is more cost economical + time.

for time some may not mind, gardening is a pretty relaxing hobby.

so please share your thoughts. If i go into growing im gonna put out about 500-1000 i can just feel it + this isnt amsterdamn im sure u know what i mean about that too. thanks for the time and your thoughts.

p.s gonna try n get a mmcard

And you own taste in ganga, even control the high

but buying decreases a level of responsibility and you probably know what i mean

yes it does, but then again I feel more sketched going out and getting it then going to my closet, secuirty should always be a top priority and you can get to the point where only if some unforseen accident happens that you would get caught, dont tell or sell and no one will know the wiser

but cost effective, which one is more cost economical + time. depends on how much money you are willing to spend upfront, once you get a good line of genetics you can keep it forever and the only thing you need to pay for is nutrients, power, and water if hydro

for time some may not mind, gardening is a pretty relaxing hobby.
as long as its going well lol

500-1000 plants? good bye life, you will be dedicating every thing to those plants, you may even need an extra person which doubles the risk. Also thats hardcore DEA involvement if you ever got caught. Id stick to less than a 100 if I were you

p.s gonna try n get a mmcard

sweet, wish I could

halogens dont work, either high pressure sodium, or metal halide. I prefer HPS but thats a toss upfor each indi person

look here http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/E...ductFamilyID=3

under flood and area

100 bucks??http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/E...ber=E-HR4H40QZ

that is a banging deal right there, shipping may up the price, but a 70 watt hps security light is like 80 bucks from home depot

It really depends on how much you smoke. and how much money you make. If you make 60 bucks an hour and only smoke an eighth a week.... Growing might not be safer for you... Or cost effective... But if you make 15 bucks an hour and smoke an oz up in a week or two. Growing's gonna be much safer bet, and economical because of the amount of weed you get for your time spent. Thats a lot of money saved in the long run... The initial investment will run you easily a grand for a decent setup. But in just one successful haul you can get a half pound of bud fairly easily out of a 600w lamp.

I second the 600w HPS, but if your lookin to cut corners a 400w hps would do you just fine. But personally I wouldn't use any less... Check out online hydro shops, or ebay. 400w hps lamps are a dime a dozen these days.

Personaly I would grow no matter what because I think its a fun hobby

In terms of security.... buying is much safer in my opinion, but growing is more fun. Buying= misdemeanor growing=felony in my state anyways.

It depends on how much you smoke. How often you go out to get it, and and how risky it is to do that too

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For me I smoke about 2grams a day after work. On weekends its 4+ a day.
....That adds up to lot$!
I wanted to grow for years but never had the place to do it. Even after I bought my own house it took me 1year to start. I always knew it would be about $5-600 to start.... I thought to myself I can go get alot right now, or wait months for my return. (and I always was a now person)
Finally I started growing, but it was as I expected. I thought I might spend $500-$600 to get going with the basics. That turned out to be a good guess, but it was ONLY"the basics".
Now I'm five weeks into my grow, and I'm approaching 3x my original investment. I fore see my grow area's costing 4x my original investment by the time I'm done. Thats includes 100% of ALL hardware. Building materials, multiple lights, PH testers, PPM testers, thermometers, barometers ....everything you can think of that can be re-used grow after grow (Hardware). By the time I consider my rooms 100% complete ....All hardware and materials will have cost about 2k. That dosent include soil, and nutrients; thats all separate.
Thats a big initial investment... but later the monthly cost will be such a big saving! .... so much that the equipment will pay for itself. You want to see?..........
I said 2g a day, and 4+ a day on the weekends ....thats 68+ grams a month. (chronic ONLY no swag)
(go figure how much that is a month in your area) ....its ALOT!!!
Then look at how much It might cost me to grow. (I say "might cost" because I havent finished my 1st grow yet)
Maybe $80 a month extra in electric bills, and maybe $120 a month for soil and nutes. That addes up to $200 a month and thats less than 25% of what I spend normally. ((those monthly cost are high estimates)) It should cost less and I'll save even more!
I know the soil and nutes will pay for themselves. I bet even my equipment will pay for itself within the next year.
Now that I started growing, I'll never go back
