![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sorry for drudging up this old post, but i got a couple pennies for it... Generally speaking, the law enforcement wont touch you if you are growing w/in 1,000 feet of a school. What happened with Mr. Beasley is a perfect example. They first learned of Mr. B's grow because of the complaints from neighbors and school employees that were upset over perfectly visible plants growing in the back yard of a person that shares a fence with a high school. This violates the conditions of the OMMP. You are supposed to keep your grow undetectable, more or less. Just because you have your OMMP card does not mean to slack on odor control and other security measures. Keep your shit under wraps. Don't be "Mr. broke crackhead has to grow his plants in plain view outside because he cant afford nor has the inclination of what a proper OMMP grow room should be." In a final note, Mr. B has an extensive criminal conviction record. He has been arrested for meth possession, armed robbery, and numerous thefts. He has ripped off good lawyers I know and is well known as a liar and scoundrel. When police first arrived to his house, if they were the least bit competent, they would have arrested him for growing out in the open. He may just have fucked everything up over here, as politicians are trying to repeal the OMMP, and with a scenario like Mr. B's...I don't blame them. do it the right way, for everyones sake. .![]()

![]() | There is a similar law that prevents you from taking a firearm within 1000 feet of a school. However many houses fall within this area so there is an exception for those who live there. I would hope there is something like this for growing but wouldn't count on it. You could try calling your local law enforcement but if they can't give you a straight answer you could call a lawyer. | ||
