I want to begin this by saying that it is 100% true even though it sounds like something out of Chich and Chong

Sorry but that is all I can think of right now (the title)/subject). I was just down in my grow room, tending to the girls. Well all of a sudden there was a loud screaming sound coming from in my house, or what sounded like in my house (my grow rooms are located in a bomb shelter which is off the basement). I live alone, just moved here, so I certainly didn't expect anybody to come into my house; my doors are locked too.

When I come out of the room I close the door, and lock it, and I hear the screaming a bit more clearly; somebody is yelling "Police, get on the ground". Yes, "Police, get on the ground". Naturally I fall to the ground. When he yelled it again I realized that I wasn't being yelled at but it was somebody else (my heart is now half-way back up to my chest once I realize it isn't me).

I ran upstairs and outside; the cop was outside, in the back of the house just above the bomb shelter. He was standing there with his gun drawn and had somebody on the ground. It turns out that there was a high-speed chase that ended in my front yard. So now I have some police tape in my front yard and a grow op in my house, in a non MMJ state.

I'm not worried in the least bit but could you imagine if the guy ran into the house? Thank God the dog they had didn't also alert to drugs (or if it did it didn't smell them). Holy shit, I'm still shaking.

A week after I moved here I got a letter from the local sheriff’s department. I thought I was in trouble but they were asking for donations. This town is great but the cops have a huge presence here. From what I gather they are a joke (a quiet town with nothing for them to do) but my house seems to be a magnet for them. They just told me that the car will be towed in a few minutes and they will be out of my hair. Oh, did I mention that I have cana-brownies baking in the oven?

This has taught me my lesson; keep your shit away unless you are using it. I had my vape sitting out as well as my scale (with the cover in a different room). There is spent bud from the vape on a plate beside the vape and a but of MJ cut up ready to be vaped.



I managed to put it all away after I ran outside. I went right back in and put shit away then sat in my front room, watching TV, waiting for them to knock on the door. The bomb shelter isn't registered with the county courthouse so they don't know about it on the blueprints either; I haven't seen them yet.



I feel 99% secure with this bomb shelter and that is why I bought this house; it was the deciding factor. What scared the shit out of me was hearing "Police, on the ground now" as I was backing out of my shelter and locking it. For all I knew I had 5 cops in my basement with guns drawn. I hit that cement floor like it was a pile of $100s.
