who would have thought my first post would be in the security section lol. anyways here's my problem. I am a new grower, i have been on this site for about a year before first starting my little operation.

Enough background. My grow room is at my girlfriends house. I live and mine and so does she i check it reguarly so maintence is not a problem, the problem is comments like, "my boyfriend loves hie plants more than me" really gets to me. So after a few random burst around her friends about my obsesion, she comes and tells me that her best friend knows because it smells like mj in the house. My friends come over who know about the setup who actually fund the setup says they dont smell anything but alcohol or beer. (yeast and sugar). A few days later she says her mom knows.

Here is the problem. I dont care if her mom knows her mom actually offered to help. Her mom knows if she runs her mouth to anyone and word gets to the cops im not the one going down cause its not my house lol.

My biggest concern is her best friend. How she found out only God knows, now her boy friend knows and her boyfriend is a wanna be drug dealer type, I dont associate with dumb drug dealers. especially the ones that sells just for show. I have a really bad feeling about this guy. I know he wont say anything while im veggin but as soon as im flowering, he's gonna want hookups, And then i run the risk of his dumb ass friends breaking in etc etc. I know i need to move my setup but moving takes time. And i have so many little girls that i dont wanna get rid off. (I actually dont wanna flower cause ill have to cut them down lol)

I came up with a emergency standby plan which was to move my "girls" to my buddies grow spot.

Hold off on flowering on till i get a new location.

and last grow something else. I just love growing things for some reason.

Kill it all buddy! I can not emphasize this enough. If 1 person knows it is 1 too many. I had to kill 72 flowering plants in a 28 x 28 grow. I also had to disassemble everything and move it all into hiding. Well worth the stress relief. All this because a neighbor said all he smells everyday when he comes outside is MJ. I under estimated the smell factor of my size grow.
Don't get greedy just destroy it. Always better to error on the side of caution. This younger generation has no problem flapping their gums about stuff in general conversation. Your friends friend will give you to leo on a silver platter. I believe they call it "Getting down first". It is not a matter of if, It's a matter of when.

Seriously, in a year of lurking...you didn't pick up on even 2 of the rules-

You lost me at the word girlfriend. If you look around on this site you will find more than one story about how an ex wife or a girlfriend got pissed off and reported the grow. It would be easy for the cops to watch the grow and find out you are behind it.

Second, and this is the teacher man coming out in me, you are talking about your girl friend living at home and you living at your home etc and your language suggests that you are under the age of 18 which is a security risk to this site to say the least.

I'm not trying to put you down, there is nothing wrong with being a minor. Hell the older I get the younger I wish I was (sometimes) but my point is this, the rules here say no one under 18 and if you are, then you are doing something that puts all of us oldtimers in peril.

Kill all of your plants, put your lights into storage and wait it out for a few years and next time don't grow anywhere but where you live and tell no on and that means not even your best buddy since jr. high, your girlfriend NOBODY!!
