is buying a "turnkey" system from an online merchant risky in terms of ending up on a list for big brother? I was looking around at stealth cabs for a small grow. I'm afraid that if I buy one of these all in one cab systems that I will be tracked in the future. Is anyone worried about "operation green merchant" happening again or am I just paranoid?

Just have it delivered to another address or if possible have someone else buy it. I ordered one a year or so ago and no problems yet. Hell I even had a seed order get confiscated in chicago. No problems yet.

indoor growing is NOT illegal...


whats being produced inside an indoor grow chamber can be...

just be smart about how you get seeds, or the type of people you have by your place...

getting a warrant to raid your place just because the cops saw you receive some boxes from a gardening store is not likely going to happen.....

whats likely to happen is a cop stakes out a grow shop, and writes down your licence # as you drive off, then checks out your house....

make sure you order from a reputable merchant... one who ships in plain boxes... you can find these merchants by searching for "merchant" in the little search box above... personally, i recommend www.htgsupply.com

hmm, yea this merchant is like a stealth cab place - says they will not ship to anyone who admits to growing illegal substance, but it definitely looks like it is catered towards that type of grower...

i dont think that is likely to happen. what if you dont grow at your house? what if you dont go directly home? there are too many factors, for a cop to randomly follow this type of lead.

yeah, i was just saying that scenario is more likely than a ups guy reporting a box going to someones house.... they're both very extreme possibilities, and very unlikely to happen at all, but they've happened before, and we all know lovers are the BEST way to get nabbed

and like someone said, growing supplies isnt illegal, and if they ever do people will find a way around it, rubermaids/floros/leds................

I think this has happened before... I remember seeing a news article or 2. This would never go down in a med state but who knows in other places.

As for ordering online... it should be no problem. Unless the online merchant is directly helping police collect info (not likely) or UPS reports you to LEO for a legal item (also not likely) you're in the clear.

When I hit the hydro shop once or twice a year, I turn it into a game. I dress conservatively and park 1/4 mile away. I walk to a little cafe for a cappuccino, then stroll over to the hydro shop. I buy what I need, then leave with my bags/boxes. I leave via a different route, stopping at another place for coffee. I remain observant the entire time.

After loading up my car, I head back for another load if necessary. I do all this on a day where the weather is nice and there is a ton of foot traffic on the streets. With the right attitude, it is actually fun!

The closest hydro shop is about an hours drive, which adds to the intrigue!
