That's the only reason I ever bust into one of the ones I manage. You never know about the cops, but, I've never been served with a warrant and that's the only reason I'd ever open one for them.

I am thinking about training my GSD to tell me which units have pot in them just so I can fuck with people's heads. Naw. That would be mean.

Jar, then 2 vaccuum sealed bags work for mine not being able to smell in my house, and heard from others that like to keep there's the same way. Same things apply though without touching the bags and having someone else help that has clean hands. Think I've only used my vaccuum sealer for food twice, and once it was friends borrowing it, but have already gone through a few rolls of bags using it this way. It was given to me for allowing me to package weed so it wouldn't smell, in my house.

appreciate all the responses.

I do already have the storage unit, it is under my real name... I have been very careful about throwing away all the reciepts though, and they dont send a bill to my house.

It doesn't sound like they actually have real dogs search the units though... Probably say that just to keep meth addicts away Sounds like If I double vaccume seal my jars it its probably safe... Maybe throw some ona gel in there just for extra safe measures.

I just assumed all my customers were meth addicts. I mean, wtf are you spending good money to store worthless shit in an unsecure location?

Honestly, I feel morally dirty taking any money from the operation. It's not my gig. I just help my wife whose parents own the joint. It's separating poor people from more of their money, just like a casino, as far as I can tell.

If you need to store already cured weed, don't put it in a somebody else's shed, buy some pvc pipe and a shovel. Just sayin...

I would say sure. In my opinion, the signs are for show. How many storage units really have an expensive drug dog and how many police departments just take their expensive dogs on random hunts in storage unit facilities?

On the subject of dogs however, if you watch the "busted" video, the guy explains that EVERY container will allow the odor to seep through over time. The dogs pick up every seperate odor. An example he gave was weed wrapped in plastic, sealed in PVC tubes, stuck in a gas tank filled with gas. The dogs smell: Gas, PVC, PVC Glue, Plastic and weed.

The only suggestions he could give to thwart the dogs was pack it cleanly and transport quickly or bake it into food. Said he never busted anyone for pot brownies because the handlers just assume the dog is going for the food.

The diversion tactic is the best I got pegged once for a small bud coming through an imigration checkpoint. I was honest and told the guy what I had after I knew the dog had alerted. He had me park, place the bud in the bed of my truck and sit in their station. He took the dog to the bag, doggy barked, handler praised dog grabbed the bag and wrote a ticket. I could have had 40 pounds under the seat and they wouldn't have looked for it.

The county it happened in never even sent me a ticket because the amount was too small for them to waste their time on.

I always suggest, if you have to much bud, make it into hash, you will come out with the same amount of resin as if it was on the bud. dry seive it, IDK, but I think its a bad idea, and bad to wonder. when we lack confidence is when you are at your weakest state
