![]() ![]() | My first post... HOO RAY! Just a quick question on odor from a greenhouse.... I am looking into outdoor growing in my yard. I thought it would be a good idea to install a greenhouse with panels that aren't clear so no one can see in. But I finally thought about odor and if it will be a problem Does anyone use a green house in a semi populated area, is the odor bad? Does the odor disperse into the air or am I going to need to install some sort of filtration? I don't plan on filling the greenhouse, I'm talking about 3-5 plants.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i live in a medical mj state, but i still take odor seriously. i grow outdoors without a greenhouse, and from my experience wafting smells from mj in vegetation is that there is very little to none, depending on wind direction and speed. when mj goes into flower, i can smell my mj for up to about 15-20ft away from the plants, again this changes with wind and weather. my property is property line fenced all the way around, the outdoor grow is more then 15 ft from the outer perimeter fence. in your case, one way to mask the smells of mj is to plant other flowers around the grow that smell pungent. im sure there might be some other ideas from other members. and, btw, welcome to gc! ![]()

I guess you should try some low odor strains. You probably shouldn't grow something like Cheese if you are worried about the smell.

![]() ![]() | Ok... So for now, planting additional fragrant flowers is the answer. I do think that might be the best option for my budget. Although it would be cool to have an exhaust that is filtered! But you can't run it all the time, I don't think I would be able to control the temp the way I want and when its off.. It would prob still smell?
