Here's the info from the norml site for Missouri if it helps at all:
Sale or manufacture of 5 grams or less of marijuana is a felony, punishable by up to seven years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000. Sale of greater than 5 grams carries a penalty of 5 - 15 years in prison. Sale of greater than 30 kilograms is punishable by 10 years - life in prison and sale of 100 kilograms or more is punishable by 10 years - life in prison with no probation or parole.

I'd smoke the last of what you have for old times sake. You certainly won't be doing that again for awhile. That's just me though, you're the one in the situation. I wish you the best.

Sell everything you have to and go meet every well known lawyer you can get a hold of trust me it will be worth it. I was sure i was going away for 18 years and then i did the smart thing ..i sold everything i had then made some $ with that $ and paid a lawyer 10,000.00.....final verdict DISMISSED AND THROWN OUT! (AND I WAS CAUGHT WITH A GUN TOO)?

That sucks bro, sorry to hear it, I don't know exactly what the MJ laws in your state are so I can't argue on the 10 to life thing, but that sound awfully harsh. Make sure you get a good lawyer, you'll need one. And check the revised code for your state to see specifically what the guidlines for growing MJ is, thiere may be stipulations for non-mature plants, i don't know but it's worth looking into. I had to deal with the legal system when i was 19 for something non MJ related, it was a bunch of bullshit, they told me i was looking at 18 years, i was scared and freakin out, they trumped up the charges horribly and in the beggining refused to offer me any kind of a deal the only thing they told me i could do is plead guilty and hope i don't get the max, I refused to plead guilty and told them i would go to trial, well trial day came, and these a-holes pulled me in a side room, offered to lessen all the charges and give me only 6 months. I didn't even want to take that deal becasue I didn't think I really did anything wrong, and would have still taken it to trail if I had a better attorney. The moral of the story is don't let the legal system intimidate you, and make sure you have a good attorny.

yeah, i looked up the missorri revised code and it was the same as the norml article, i dunno i thought that was so harsh it must be some kind of mistake. It is rediculous, under 5 grams is still a felony just a class b one. Unbelievable, any type of MJ related offense in that state seems to be a felony. The governor should smoke a fat one to his a$$. Cultivating in any amount is a Class A felony, thats right up there with aggravated burglary, armed robbery, rape and murder. Am I living in the twilight zone or what?? Serenity, seriously, get the best atty you can no matter what it cost, a good atty should be able to spot a loophole if there is one, and at the very least get you the lightest sentace possible. I'd hate to say it but if the laws were like that in ohio I would not even think about growing. I might as well be manufacturing herion and injecting in into the police chiefs underage duaghter.

I looked it up, they consider it involuntary manslaughter, a class c felony and is punishable by no more than 7 years. I guess they've been trying to change it to a class b felony and punishible with 5 to 15 years since 97' but It seems they just havn't gotten around to it yet because they were too busy busting all these hardcore potheads. Man whoever writes the laws in that state must have his/her head so far up thier ass that thier stomach is tied in a knot.

Grow or possess more than 5 grams of pot = 10+ years
Get drunk and kill somoene = no more than 7 years

So am I to assume, according to this logic that If I murder and rape someone I can expect probation????

Im with you. Its crazy how much the laws change just from OH to MO, here I could be cultivating 20000 grams or more and still get less than ten years, cultivation of less than 100 grams is a simple fine. They leave out on NORML tho that in ohio (or at least my part of ohio) any drug offense, regardless of the amount, results in a 6month liscense suspension.
