see perhaps if you can apply for an deferred prosecution program in your state? I recently got popped with 9 lowryders (they even counted the dead male rootballs i had sitting around the house waiting for disposal.) Promptly took my ass right to Mecklenburg county jail, sat in a cell on my ass for a couple weeks, until my beautiful, wondermous girlfriend bailed me out.

Because it was my first offense, I qualified for deferred prosecution. Basically like lite probation, with the opportunity to expunge my record after I complete the program. And i had 3 felonies 1 misdemeanor (manufacturing, possession with intent, maintaining a dwelling, and lastly, paraphenalia. Or however you spell it).

Doing that now, not so bad, worst part is paying my probation officer every week (giving this bastard my hard earned bread so he can better drug test and check up on my ass).

But it beats incarceration.

Which, by the way, wasn't so bad. Most people in jail are just trying to finish their time and get out. Met a whole bunch of cool people. The food, however, was absolutely fucking horrible.

Not to be funny but since you havn't been arrested yet, or maybe you have since you havn't posted in awhile, you could probably flee to BC were i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be extradited, at least not for growing pot, your family could always come visit you. and you could still grow pot.

well, they do have this invention called a airplane wich would probably cut the travel time down significantly. But seriously, I wish you all the best and hope that whatever the outcome is it is as minimal as possible. I'm sure you will be in the thoughts and prayers of everyone here at GC. and maybe someone can give you their adress so you can write them something to post on here for you to let everyone know how your doing if you do end up going to the pokey for awhile.

Good Luck My Friend
We had our chance to snub our noses at the Feds and blew it.
The jury should have found him not guilty due to bad and conflicting law.
Have to post this info, to show the power we really have and surpress by the LAW
As recently as 1972, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said that the jury has an " unreviewable and irreversible power.. to acquit in disregard of the instructions on the law given by the trial judge.... (US vs Dougherty, 473 F 2d 1113, 1139 (1972). Or as this same truth was stated in a earlier decision by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Maryland: "We recognize, as appellants urge, the undisputed power of the jury to acquit, even if its verdict is contrary to the law as given by the judge, and contrary to the evidence. This is a power that must exist as long as we adhere to the general verdict in criminal cases, for the courts cannot search the minds of the, jurors to find the basis upon which they judge. If the jury feels that the law under which the defendant is accused, is unjust, or that exigent circumstances justified the actions of the accused, or for any reason which appeals to their logic of passion, the jury has the power ,to acquit, and the courts must abide by that decision." (US vs Moylan, 417 F 2d 1002, 1006 (1969)).

As a juror armed with the knowledge of the purpose of a jury trial, and the knowledge of what your Rights, powers, and duties really are, you can, with your single vote of not guilty, nullify or invalidate any law involved in that case. Because a jury's guilty decision must be unanimous, it takes onlyone vote to effectively nullify a bad "act of the legislature." Your one vote can "hang" a jury; and although it won't be an acquittal, at least the defendant will not be convicted of violating an unjust or unconstitutional law.

30 minutes to go lol I have considered the bc thing I would just rather get it over with and then move to a state that has mmj cards. Running reallly isnt a option.. I dont think Im smart enough to stay out of trouble forever and plus all the random stops and checkpoints in this country...I would be a sure gonner sooner or later.
