Nothing like a big pint of Katy Trail Ale at the Flat Branch. I just moved from Columbia and know what store Pi is talking about, I think. Well, there's only one in town. I have never personally seen any strange looking vehicles parked there observing, although I used to go in the morning when they first open up. I know the owner and he is such a great guy.
I'm not saying Pi is wrong - not at all. Just posting my experiences there. I'll be going back there soon for soil and supplies

Your story makes me feel better about the store situation and your kind words makes me feel good for the long haul.

We all need to be careful about how we proceed. Unless of course you live in a country or state that allows you to do this sort of thing.

I will keep everyone updated on how my cab construction goes and I plan to travel to visit my friend for some genetics here in a few weeks. I plan a harvest day well before christmas.

I just need to collect and buy all of my neccessities without notice then I think I'm in the good.

look, if you really want to know how to not get busted, you must check out Never Get Busted Again | Save Thousand in Legal Fees they sell 2 ddiffrent videos, never get busted and never get raided, they are well worth the 20 bucks, its made by an ex-dea agent who decided he thought what he was doing was wrong, he shows how to grow indoors and out, and tells you all the things the police try to do to bust you and how they go about doing it, and how to aviod it. It is the most informative video i've ever seen. Taught me alot i didn't know and probably half the people on here don't know either.

And a word of advice, check the MJ laws in your state, you can go to NORML's website to do it. there are some states i would never grow in, whether i thought i could get away with it or not. Luckily my state is pretty relaxed on the whole MJ thing. I agree with your MJ beliefs. Too bad not that many states do. I'm in ohio, and i think we are second to alaska, where its not even a crime to carry less than an ounce. Ohio you can carry up to 100 grams and its a simple 100 fine.

Growing cannabis is illegal in the USA and people who do so are naughty. So,don't get caught. Tell noone at all, especially friends, cause "friends" have other friends and they talk. In fact I highly suggest having no friends at all..ok well maybe one but don't talk to them about your grow.
Small amounts for personal use will not likely get you any forfeiture. Thats used for dealers and people carrying weight so don't stress about that nonsense. But use stealth and silence as your 1st line of defense and take no chances.
I bought my equipment at a local hydro store with cash. If ya can't do that in your or a nearby town then I'd go with the prepaid credit card and a hydro store advertised or mentioned on these forums.
Did I mention silence? It really is golden in this area, and hard as hell though it may be to not brag, show, or at least talk about your grow you just can't do that and expect to stay under the radar.
With your stated consumption rate, you may not need to grow at all. It is a risky venture(though a fun one too). Is it worth the risk to avoid paying for a bag every week or couple of weeks?

Now here's a guy who watched never get raided, he knows exactly what he's talking about.
One correction though, there should be no closing of the door, becasue you should never open it to begin with.
if they have a warrant, they will kick your door in, probably won't even knock first. So if they dont kick your door in, you now know that they do not have enough evidence to get one. Just suspisoin, but i gotta be honest if that happened to me, as soon as the cops left i would destroy my entire operation.

When i was 20 years old i was at a party where most of us were underage and drinking, when the cops showed up, we just turned off all the lights and stayed quite, they knew we were all in there, but there wasn't shit they could do, they ended up leaving after about 15 minutes. We stayed cool the rest of the night and we never heard anything about it again.

Like i said check your state's laws, don't do anything thats considered a felony, unless your willing to go thru a bunch of bullshit and possibly go to prison over it if you get caught. growing 1 or 2 plants in my state is a midemeonor so i don't worry about it much. And screw the Fed's its not even worth thier time if you don't have more than 500 plants. Probably even more than that.

If you really believe the cops could be trailing you from the hydro store, why not order supplies online. The supplies are not illegal, no questions asked, and prices are more than reasonable. Damn ballasts are heavy

my 99% of busts are caused by loose lips, odor problems, and other activity that cause accidental discovery. Take care of these problems and relax.

I'm sure it is possible that cops may trial people they see buying large amounts of growing equipment just to keep an eye on em for awhile.
I wouldn't worry about it if your just buying something for a small to medium setup. Just don't drive there with a bunch of hippie bumper stickers all over your car that say i love weed. As well as NORML stickers . It's a good idea if you order online to use a frieds credit card and address. That way its a dead end for the police. The reason you want to take precasutions like this is not so much the cops finding out about you from this, but so that if they ever suspect you, they won't have much to try to get a warrant with.


BTW i was watching cops tonight and 2 cops went up into a hotel and the one said "let's do a walk and talk" they knocked on the door, and the fucking idiots opened it knowing they were making meth in the bathroom. To make a long story short, they will be gone fo awhile.
