I was planning on asking the Dr for a card because of headaches and work related stress. I have been prescribed pain relievers in the past. Would this be considered a valid reason?
If not any suggestions on how I might boost my problem?

If you have prescription painkillers, that will help alot. I got mine for stress and insomnia. it doesn't take alot. Dr. Sterner is very compassionate.

Dr Jimenez is my doctor and he is very helpful. He gives a discount if you pre-qualify online. He will go to court if you need him to, and he has sued DA's for not following state law.

I took my doctor my chiropractic records that have x-rays of my spine. He took one look at the xrays and asked a few questions, but the way he asked the questions made me think they were questions he had to ask or something. Oh also I had my chiropractor write a note stating that I had cronic pain, but I don't think I needed it.
My friend took his pain script bottles and got his no problem.
We both live in SD but I can't remember the doctor at the moment.... oh it was Medicann. You can find them online.

Well they have to diagnose you with something, if the doctor just hands out mmj cards he will require them because he is not your peimary dr. but if your your primary dr. diagnoses you then its not necessary. This is important because it wil help you in court. Often doctors will just send you to a dr. they know who will help diagnose you and is "MMJ friendly"

even sent me a photo id card type recommendation in the mail.
i had lots of documentation when i went in, but got the feeling that i didn't need it.
it's a beautiful thing, to be able to post a peice of paper next to your plants, and know that the odds just changed significantly......

in my original mmj evaluation with Tod H. Mikuriya, M.D. in 2002, i told him i had headaches, and back strain. he diagnosed me with tension headaches and lower back strain. This is what it says on the original paperwork. i have used the same medical condition for all renewals. i tell the doctor that using mj works to relieve some of the symptoms. this is really all a mj doctor needs to hear. "i have [insert medical condition], and using mj works for me". yes, having a medical record of a medical condition that has been documented for some time by another doctor, is probably helpful but they may or may not ask for it. i did not see medical records as a requirement in an initial eval, however, if you are transferring from one mj doctor to another, they do require medical record release. i know this because i had to do this just last year.
