i am runnung 1 1000w hps and my power bill was way higher the first month is this gunna get noticed by the power company or any one???

it also helps if you switch out for the low watt light bulbs and keep the lights off when not in use my wife leaves all the lights on here and that prolly equals a 1k light

At our old place the bathroom light mirror had 8 60watt bulbs above it so that's 480w in one bathroom. In the same house just leaving the speakers and amp on while watching tv was almost 3000w.

Avoid using the dryer, just hang cloths. You can turn "heat dry" off on your dishwasher. It's amazing how easy it is to compensate 1000w. I'm looking at my baseboard heater. There's 3 in this room and they use 1700w each.

My friends GF leaves her heat on max all day so she can be comfortable when she walks in then turns the heat down to suit her!

Some people are morons with power and some people grow weed. You can't separate the two without allot of manpower and money.

Are you in a Northern climate? cause many heating bills go up during winter months. Also 1 or 2 1000's can be explained in many ways. had a friend start a mid-size grow and put up a welding buisness sign as cover.

My mothers house has 6 people living in it and her power bill is $300+ for the past 15 years, and no mj growing. She pays the bill and no questions asked. My system is a little over 2k and is still lower than hers. So ill repeat what many others have said DONT TELL, DONT SELL, DONT SMELL, and you will be fine.

also change out all your household light bulbs for CFl's they will cut the normal power usage in half.
