It happens all the time here in the US.People go to jail for seeds in the mail all the time.

Personally I haven't heard one single case of a person getting busted for receiving seeds at home.
They do take the seeds if they found them and send you a note to go and pick them up (just in case you're a seed collector) but no one comes to your house to arrest you.
But overall, if you can prove to them that you're collecting seeds as a novelty, you can legaly buy seeds.

Sorry, got to call bull shit on this. Other than one person who came on this board a couple of months ago to sing his busted blues I have never heard or read of this happening. Period. And his story was quite vague and non specific and there were lots of other circumstances involved too. Not just seed delivery.

So before you come on here and and make in ill-informed blanket statement like this, why don't you back it up with some fact. Document this. Provide the links, the court cases, reports etc. I challenge you to. If you can find actual legit documentation with all the details that proves beyond a doubt that some one got busted and went to jail solely for seeds being mailed to their house I will humbly stand corrected. Until then...it's BS.

BTW, this site allows the discussion of seed banks and mailing them because there's a huge difference between adults trying to find out information to cultivate and responsibly use their own, and a bunch of kids trying to score weed.

oooh buurrn jk biff I agree. I believe the only person I have read about on here is Serenity...... I believe that is who it was off the top of my head ... I find a lot of faults in our govt. but I really do think they have better things to do than send the feds or leo to your door for ordering some magic beans!!

OK, here's the lowdown on this entire subject. We are discussing this behind the curtain. I oppose the lifting of the no discussion of selling guideline. The GardensCure has always been a site where growing Cannabis has been the focus. There are a few things that will cause a grower a great deal of problems - angry lover, big mouth, and selling are right up there. We are here to grow. We aren't here to teach anyone how to sell, how to smuggle, or how to steal.

There are plenty of times where it becomes a judgment call on whether a thread remains open or closed. That's why we wear funny hats, it helps us decide. I'm closing this thread now.
