Not trying to ruffle and feathers, but this confuses me.

it is highly frowned upon if anyone breaks the cardinal rule of "no talk of sale distribution or trafficking of illicit substances"

however, this site has thread after thread discussing the trafficking of seeds...

seeds are just as illegal as plants here in the good ole U S of A. so why is talk about transportation of seed allowed, as long as its in the mail. if anyone talks about carrying seeds personally its a no no.

are we being goated into purchasing seeds online so "the man" has a point of contact for nearly every grower that signs onto the internet?

sure it may not be your house they came to, but im sure when the feds knock on your homies door and start talking about seizing property and asset they wont be your friend for long!

I always thought that having seeds was not illegal, but they could take them away if shipped threw the mail.

Ok its because we talk about resources to locate seeds such as websites and its just common sence to have the go through the mail so the mods usally look away when the mail is discused and you take a risk doing anything when it involves mj. my

From personal experience: I have had seeds sent to a government military facility and never got busted. My buddies wife used to send us bud overseas to a military facility as well
I don't think "the man" is on top of it.

yeah i doubt "the man" is on top of it either. but i see alot of thread closures that dont seem that much more inappropriate than seed talk.

it doesnt bother me or anything, just seemed a bit curious.


where i used to live they could and would charge you for possession for a seed/stem, bag residue.. you name it. if they could send it to the lab and confirm it was or even had mj res on it. that was your ass.

On most countries, seeds arnt illegal. International rules says they are not psicoactive, so there are not ilegal. Just very repressive policial countries as USA and third world countries forces the law to see seeds illegal

There are people who collects seeds, and not grow them. If they arnt psicoactive itself, there shouldnt be any problem. Its growing them what is illegal on most countries.

Apart of legal considerations, i think there is a huge difference between selling seeds, which needs to be germinated and grown for months, harvesting and proccesing it than selling the finished psicoactive product ready for comsuption.

PD: It would be like jailing people for buying hammers because some people use them to kill

MJ nuts never killed anyone...peanuts however...off an estimated 150 people a year and puts another 10,000+ in the hospital. By people, I mean the defacto 'most precious' of citizens...children and adolescents.

And yet...peanuts and its derivatives can be found on shelves all across the nation.

Not that that answers why GC promotes the sale of seed but frowns on any and all speak of moving here and there amongst friends. But then, life is full of contradictions...GC is no different is all.

Do they collect all kinds of seeds or just MJ seeds.I cant tell any difference from one MJ seed to another so how would that be any fun?
