Question Vegetables in the Grow Room
permalink

I was thinking about getting a few vegetable plants going in my Dark Room. I only need a couple oz's of smoke a month so I have the space.

When my daughter comes over, I can pull out my ganga for the day and she will think I'm just growing food. That's why I posted this in the security forum.

Anybody do that? What vegies play with ganga well - same height, nute/light requirements?

Peppers grow alongside MJ very well. I always have pepper plants in my flower room. I also use basically the same fert mixture for the two.

I usually have some peppers and some herbs. I tell my daughter the same thing almost.. Only we have a bearded dragon that eats greens.. We tell the kids we grow his food.. so she thinks they are weeds because they look 'prickly'

... I also think having some herbs helps with the smell.. Not sure why but I dont have any filters running in my house - and theres little smell I think it has to do with the peppers and herbs I have in there.. they smell more then the

Good luck man... Sounds like a good idea to me

What happens when said daughter wishs to see the vegetables you are growing in your darkroom? It would be better if your daughter didnt know your darkroom exsisted in the first place. Why would your daughter display a curiosity in the first place to stray into your darkroom upon one of her visits in the first place? Are you looking for a viable explanation as to why you have glareing grow lights eminating from your darkroom and you are afraid of her stumbling upon this scenario? More carefull planning or further explanation is needed to extrapolate your request.

Swordfish - What bearing do the answers to your questions have on the OP's question? They are, in no way, related. If the OP asked how to better hide the fact that he/she is growing MJ then your questions would be relevant to the OP's.

It seems like you just wanted to question the OP, the daughter, their relationship, and the OP's intelligence.

My relationship with my daughter is offtopic.

I intend to eat what I grow - and treat them with the same loving care I give my ganga.

If the relationship you have with your daughter is off topic in discerning your question about the merits of growing vegetables as a subterfuge to your daughters inquirys, why did you post this question in the security forums? There must be a component of your question that caused you to place your question here instead of the indoor growing threads. I apologize if I interpreted your need to formulate an excuse of some kind as to where the bud came from that you plan on producing like you indicated. I believe it is germaine to the subject at hand to formulate a correct answer. You didnt indicate the age of your daughter but if she is comeing to visit one could assume she is out of the nest and thinks like an adult. Also if your narrative in posting #1 was more concise as to preclude useing your dauther to form an opinion my opinions would not have been so forthcomeing.

How do you train the tomatoes? I have stared plants in my rooms but then I take them outside when they begin to need the training.
