Replaced my laserlyte laser site with a Streamlight Laser/light combo.
didnt want to have to look for my flashlight when/if needed.

a couple of weeks back, i fired a glock, set up with a combo light/ lazer in .40 cal. to bad it was mid-day and we were out doors....i would have liked to RUN it in lower light conditions......and that glock ran perfect.
i like that quick acess safe, most my guns are locked up

i agree in the case of lower schools.
i believe that any non-incarcerated adult citizen should be able to own, posess in their homes, and carry pretty much any weapon they want.
that also goes for college students (imagine how quickly va tech could have been stopped if only.....).
i also believe that felons should have the right (your debt to society is paid in full when you complete parole, imho. full rights should be restored.).
as i see it, the regulation should come after the crime has been comitted, and applied only to the individual comitting said crime. in such a case, regulation should come in the form of a prison term and/or death sentence. if we kept violent offenders locked up, and did what we were supposed to do with murderers, there would be no need for firearm regulation.

the 2nd is very clear on this matter.
shall not be infringed means exactly that.... no more, no less.
firearm regulation of any sort is expressly forbidden.

the 2nd amendment is about self defense, against enemies both foreign and domestic.
altho we were born with this right, the framers put that in there to guarantee that we had the means at our disposal to take our country back from a tyranical government.
allowing these elected officials to determine what the gun laws should be is like letting our bankers choose our interest rates, and we know how well that's worked out for us.

as for the reason that kids are carrying these days, thank the media (as well as the shadow gov's secret agendas).
glorifying the "thug life" by way of music, movies, etc., does nothing but encourage this behavior.

this country is broken in more ways than one, and it has little to do with our second amendment rights, and more to do with the failings i've mentioned, and more.

expect these failings to become even worse over the next 4 years......

I've got myself a Marlin 30-30 and a Thompson Center Triumph (muzzleloader) for deer hunting.

I also just purchased my first handgun for personal protection and sport shooting. I did a lot of research and decided on the Springfield Arms XD(m) .40. I'm very happy with my purchase.

All my guns are kept unloaded in a gun-safe in the basement (although I have 2 full clips in there for the XD. I am going to move this safe up to my room soon for easier access and to get it away from my future grow spot.
