IMO guns bring bad karma and I would never have them in my house or grow area. But I think it is downright retarded to have automatic weapons in your home and even moreso to have illegal ones. Now if you get pinched your slap on the wrist, maybe a little time for growing turns into years. Thanks, but no thanks.

I was watching DEA on spike recently, and a kid was facing a 10 year minimum sentence for a couple pounds of weed and a registered loaded weapon.

yes thats is exactly what i was saying get busted growing weed and have a loaded gun in the house to is a definate WEAPONS SPECIFICAtion charge and it has to be seved consecutively to any time you get for the dope or grow. and compound the 2 together and they will say you were enforcing you grow operation with a loaded high power revolver or assualt riffle, so you are fucked no matter what so why not get fome fully's in the house.

Alright! Won a gun for once at a gun raffle Saturday. Advertised gun was a Thompson Contender Omega, stainless steel with a composite stock, but I already have a .50 cal muzzle loader that mostly just collects dust. They give you a gift certificate for the value of the gun, nowadays, thinking of using it to get a varmint rifle, maybe a 22-250 or a .223, something like that.

Some of the recent posters pointed out the bad judgement of having a loaded firearm at a grow site and cited federal penalties enhancements etc which im sure is fact but what about people in Ca with their med gardens? Can you apply this same set of standards in most states? All states? Which one in particular will they nail your ass to a wall in? What if your in compliance with your community standards for MJ cultivation and thieves break in and you waste their ass over the threshhold? Will you be going to jail too because you shot the bastard trying to steal your med pot?

Alright, so a few years ago I bought one of the shittiest guns on the market. The wildly crappy "Hi-Point .45 cal." Brand new I paid $130 for this heap of steel. Anyways, a friend and i took that bastard out on a boat. No joke, that piece of shit is a goddamn sniper pistol. I have never in my life seen a handgun shoot such long distances, accuratly, in my life. Can't say I have shot alot of them into water at long distances, but we hit the buoys as far as you could see them. We were just aiming at them and raising the gun about a foot, pull the trigger and about 3-5 seconds later you would either see a splash or ya hit it. Fucking sunk a few. Crazy shit. I was surprised. I also had my 9mm, and my friends SKS and neither came as close. I don't know if this is some kind of fluk, but i was amazed at this hunk of shit. Fucking pile of crap jams all the time, its heavy as hell, has the looks of a Crosman pellet gun, but it fucking shoots a long ways.....

I attached a pic of when we got on shore and were shooting, thats my friend shooting, he's a shitty shot and missed, you can see the splash in the water....
