So, after you shoot the burglar, how long do you suppose you have before the cops show up?

What I'm saying is, if you shoot and kill someone in your house.. The police are going to end up coming in at some point, and quite possibly finding your grow. An alarm system or non-lethal self defense allows the burglar to take off and leave you in peace with no 5-o interference.

My grow(s) - if I have them, which I don't, cause Unca Sammy says it's bad- my grows are (would be) in locked closets/ cabinets. It is amazing what can be done with a 7' x 3' x 8' closet.

Of course, I guess they will be found after I'm hauled off to prison, as I cannot legally own guns.

Don't even pull that thing out unless you are willing to kill with it. The laws are not in our favor here, but i'd prefer to be alive and in the s;ammer a bit then dead.... well that used to be the case before I got ill.
If ya shoot, you better be darn sure it's to kill and you succeded. If the guy lives, he'll sue your ass off and win. Warped laws. Like the taser idea, still like the burgler that cut himself with a knife and sued the house owner, you will be the one in the slammer. :-(
I never do warnign shots. I point and do the cheezy freeze line, then the person who is threatening me runs off or out of my house the way he got in. Why? If the burgler or person attcking you does not have a gun (equal and opposite force) then you will be the one in troubl if you shoot him. Doesn't matter if he has a huge knife. Women are luckier since the law at least know they can be in fear of being overpowered but most men.
I carry when living in a place where I can. Don't have people aroudn to keep it locked away from. Things likes, bows, rifle, shotguns, special pistols, OK. Safe is the way to go.

Saved my behind once outside my home, and once inside it. Have many knives and sprays. I use the sprays on dogs and the knives to clean my nails. ;-))))

There's nothing im my house for anyoen to find. If there was and I shot a robber inside (with his gun), this shouldn't give the police any reason or right ot search my house?! They can coem and sit onthe couch for their interview.

Random, if the guy is dead, i'd say you better get to that phine within 10 minutes or they'll woder what you were up too. If you have neighbors, still get to that phone yourself. Timewise. depending on how far away the dunkin doughnuts! Don't forget ya have to stay on the phone with 911. No time to hide things, but you might be able to stir up the catbox for more oder. LOL

heres a pic of my russan nagants. i really ejoy shooting the short m-44 (1944) , the fire ball that comes out the muzzle is bad ass, but it kicks . the nagant on the left is dated 1939, and lighter on the recoil

It was my thought that you can get a kimber in 10mm....... or did you mean you can't find/afford one?

Also, as a side note, I prefer the .40 as a good in-between-9mm-and-45 round. Do you feel the 10mm is that much better, given today's loading options? I remember the '40 vs. 10' debates, and it seems the .40 won for reasons other than knockdown or ballastic concerns, but nowadays they have loads that make the .40 more versatile and available than the 10mm, IMO.
