As I cant have none of them shootin irons, sez unca sammy, I am looking for states now that are soft on guns and will let me have black powder legally. I saw a LeMatt-style pistol, black powder, could use the pyrodex "smokless" black powder and it had a 12 or 16 Ga. shotgun barrel under the normal barrel, like the original LeMatt.

Now That is a serious revolver......make it on a .500 S&W frame, with a 12 Ga. underbarrel.

Just in case the( 5 ) .500 rounds don't stop those squirrels from eating my birdfeeders.........

pesky critters are tough, ask anyone.

yeah but if they eat another damn birdfeeder I'm gonna use the .500 LeMatt PLUS the 12-Ga. I want to send a message, here, and my snake can't catch 'em either.

Can I have a birdfeeder on my window ya damn rodents? Don't make me rig up a tazer to fire at weights more than 1/2 pound!!

........ Lots of people here better than me at electronics.........
Tazer/stun guns are cheap.........
A little pre-cooking probably won't hurt that bad......

And I agree, I love squirrels ! I really love em in a crock-pot (lots are tough out here close to the city, they be gangsta squirrels!) with potatoes.

Being the son of an LAPD officer I learned to shoot at a very young age. Three to four times a month 47 years ago when I was ten was when dad and I would go shoot up the Santa Clarita Valley. Today it's filled with subdivisions. I could knock a lizard off a rock at 50 yards to impress pop.
Today and since I was in my 20's guns never appealed to me, nor did I feel compelled to acquire one for my safety. I did inherit a bit of an arsenal however and the guns have remained untouched since my fathers death some five years ago. I will need to take inventory of the firearms shortly and may see if I can still shoot beer cans out in the desert one day.
Dont worry about the LAPD, being the son of a cop in LA dureing the 60s, and 70's taught me alot about what career I wanted and the LAPD had their head up their ass back in those days about pot smokers. That freak Daryl Gates believed casual drug users should be rounded up and shot. Or the students at Hollywood High School would take over the football field and smoke pot all day. We smoked our pot all day but not on the football field. Shows what that guy new. They never did find those guys who converted the "Hollywood" sign to read "Hollyweed" and my lips are sealed.

nark-o: My lower is a kaiser defense, trigger kit + upper is all DPMS.
this is my first AR so im going for the 16 inch barrel, i want a longer barrel with my next one but a 16" is still effective out to 400 yards easily, so it still serves the all around purpose, im probbly going for a bigger caliber than .223 for my next one, wouldnt mind it as a hunting platform eather.
my barrel is pre ban so im getting the threads and flashhider, i did a custom order of an upper on dpms website and it came out to about 750, not bad considering most other uppers right now are going for 900+ and still dont have the forward rail/grip and front sight setup i want, so im saving at lest a few hundred from gun show prices + reconfiguring and lets face it prices of anything AR are not likley to go down. my waiting list was 8-10 months at the time, but i cant argu with the cost savings.

DPMS is cheap but ive heard nothing but good things, alot of departments go with them, so ill stand behind a police/swat decision on its quality for the task.

what brand is your ar setup?

Careful how you reply, Jgreenleaf - or should we ask her opinion? Seriously, though, if you are not holding her hostage, having it under your pillow sounds like a helluva alarm clock one morning.

Turn over too fast one night, BANG!

Gf would then find somewhere to go, if the slug didn't end up in your head. Or hers.
