Swordfish that explains how you turned out. Didn't exactly emulate my parents either. I've never shot a gun in my life and probably never will. Don't see the need for it. Cops are only ones I know with firearms. | |||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah narko, I went to the big reno gun show a couple of months ago, when realy everything was at its height i would say, There was plenty of ar stuff actually, i got in opening of day one, But it was all going fast, trigger kits where gone entirly within an hour, and the line for the huge ammo supplier was insain. there are defintly parts going around, but they go fast and for high prices. people are seriously making money on stuff they have been holding onto for a while. Yeah the preban is a no brainer, i realise *preban* is only around as long as we dont have the assult weapons ban in effect again. as long as i can i might as well. i still have yet to shoot a ar, but i want to jizz my pants when i hold a complete ar at a gunshow, the fit and feel is amazing. i cannot wait.

not the most ergonomically correct weapon i've ever fired, but certainly my fav item in my arsenal. ammo for it is a bit spendy, but the .308 is a far superior round to the .223.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'll agree for long range zombie killing ... but in the event of close combat, I'll take the 223 any day. Lighter, less recoil, target retrieval is much quicker ... plus, what would I do with my 150 round mag for my ar? ... or not!JV

that sounds like a mess just waiting to happen. seriously, tho... the ptr is my all purpose weapon. the main reason i went with the .308 is the lack of interest in tracking a wounded meal. true, it's not as strong as a 300 win mag, but it will still do the job nicely. my cq weapons are pistols and an sks. 7.62X39 is a decent round (and i already own thousands of them), and the sks is fairly indestructible. i've known a lot of people to bitch about jammed ar's.

Makes any weapon a badass weapon ![]() the pistol bayonets are seriously understated.... never leave home without one. ![]()

exactly why i need to get a .38 +P revolver, because the glock just doesnt hide to well, Cant let smokey the bare know im packin.arnold: i know the gun your talking about, a little long but very nice, and i realise the .223 is not a one round kill munition like the 7.62 is, at least not *as much* I had a chance to buy a SKS for 200$, but i was in california and could not do a legal transfer, the owner bought the gun when it was legal in cali, i realy liked it, wish i had it now especially for that price! g13laze: i like bayonets to, Interesting fact to anyone who doubts them, our marines in the opening weeks of the war in iraq claimed bayonet kills. impressive for 2003, might be a old concept but its never out of date. thecolorgreen: dont own that brand but i own a glock in 40 S&W and i love the caliber.
