  | I was thinking bout getting a gun. But I got another dog instead. My reasoning, is... Dogs are a deterrent to keeping a robbery from happening in the first place. If a robber gets into my house, I'm fucked. That means another person knows about my grow. I'd have to move... If It actually came down to firing the gun, well... That would bring in the police, and then they could give a shit about the fact that I was robbed, and would haul me off to jail for growing pot... Dogs deter robbers from even thinking about robbing your house. They just move on to the next one. Robbers hate dogs. And if I were busted, They'd surely get me on extra charges if I had a firearm in the house too. legal or not. Judges and jury's dont like firearms period. It doesn't fucking matter what the laws are, you've got to appeal to the jury as a harmless medicinal pot grower or they'll have a grudge against you and fuck you over. Just because they can.

| Guns are fine by me, though I don't own any. The only thing I worry about is that there are a lot of crazies out there. The kid I live with has a 12 gauge, nothing wild or anything, which (to my knowledge) is stored unloaded somewhere. We've got security equipment in the form of a rottweiler. Having that stare at you from the other side of the glass should be enough for any sane person who doesn't want to lose pieces of their body.  I think we should devolve a little bit with the weaponry. You know, go back to just forms of cutlery. Have some duels and such in city squares.  I mean, you have to really want to kill someone to do it with a sword, any six year old can pull a trigger... Having this sticker on your doors also might help... What do you think? I wouldn't go in...you never know  -MW | ||

| I'm all for guns as long as you have a valid reason to own one. In Australia I don't believe that personal protection is a valid one, sure the city's are a bit rougher now but the way some aussies go on its like the Bronx, It's not even like you have to carry a knife but some will tell you its the hood and shit. I will be going to get a license for a 257 Remington(hopefully) quite soon and a 12 gauge a bit later, why well for hunting fox's, rabbit, goat, wild sheep etc. Here in Australia its a little harder to get a gun than the U.S, but it is still quite easy to get a rifle If you have valid reasons and letters from land owners.   | ||

| I've wanted a few guns, but at the moment have decided to go without. Suits me fine though, my apartment is small and tight with lots of things to trip over. By the time the burglar gets to a clear spot, I'm right around the corner with one of these: San Mai Gurkha Kukri : All Terrain (Fixed Blade) Hopefully the poor guy will turn and run before I take his head off.  | ||

Profound carries a Glock G30 .45 My 10 in the clip (ya only need one shot) man stopper or anything else stopper too.... Remington 870 in the bedroom...why ?? | sometime ago, my good friend's house was robbed and they had poisoned the dogs then gagged and bound him in his room while they ransacked his house, stole his car, which was later wrecked in ensuing police chase dog's are great, i have 2 vicious animals (lol), but I need something more fail-safe... I only grow less than 10 plants which are kept small also. It would probably take me 10min. to scrap it all if a shooting took place in my domicile. I already have Plan of Action in place for these scenarios, god forbid, it ever happens If I ever woke up and HEARD someone in my house....... wow... Growing pot or not, I don't think the criminal in your home cares if you get in trouble for your grow, I don't think I would care about myself getting into trouble for growing pot (at the moment), all I would care about is making sure that I'm safe, my personal property stays that way, and I don't give mr.criminal a chance to see it coming. I don't need a burglar suing me for shooting him in the knee in my house. sounds mean but... I can be that way sometimes

| i keep a metal gas powered bb gun pistol but no real guns. it looks real enough and if someone calls the bluff i can pistol whip them
