I was thinking the other day which type of mail raises eyebrows and which might be past off as regular items. Seeds are usually shipped stealthy and therefore I was thinking items such as soils, nutes, lights, etc .

For instance, there are many reasons a person would need a HPS light or other HID light other than growing purposes. Lots of people use them for outside lights.

Soils and nutes are probably a little more alarming. Maybe not though. Lots of people maintain no gardens on a regular basis.

what are you smokin?

i had a relative in the service who worked for customs

they look for stuff that doesnt have a return address

if your stuff is shipped in plain box - no one knows whats inside and there is no customs unless its over seas or smells like MJ

my guess - if its domestic - they dont look for anything

they wait for it to jump out at them and bite them

i think the do rarely have drug sniffing dogs in large BMC (bulk mail centers)
so dont mail your bud

if your package says HYDRO all over it .......................................

for the most part, no i dont think they "look" for that. it really depends. depends also, what might be on the "watch" list. whatever that might be.

a few bags of soil, i dont think, is going to raise any eyebrows. a entire pallet or truckload of soil, is another matter, being shipped.

lights. same thing. a couple, few lights, prolly will get no reaction from anyone. a entire truckload, or pallet or whatever, prolly will get something noticed.

it really depends. who is ordering this stuff? where is it being shipped? (it might be some company ordering all this stuff, in which case i doubt they will do or think anything of it.)
