Gos2Slo,

I'd absolutely LOVE to see TWO things:

1.) A PDF / SCAN of the above mentioned bill (Your name, address and account number fogged out of course!).

and

2.) Details of exactly WHAT program you are enrolled in.

My girlfriend and I are getting absolutely SLAUGHTERED by PG & E for over $5,000 a year (imagine, electric costing more than your property taxes! Welcome to PG & E!).

Roseville Electric costs LESS than HALF as much!

All the care programs on PGE's site only mention a 20% discount. That's a joke (though better than nothing ). There has to be a way to fix our issue. We barely use anything and are sweating are butts off and we;re still spending $5,000 a year. With Roseville Electric the bill never even broke $200 even if we cranked it in the summer to 73 degrees!

Any help would be MUCH MUCH MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

Niesong

P.S. Your bill makes no sense to me as you used 3763 Kilowatt hours which at the baseline of only .10 cents would equal only $376.30! Furthermore, with the way you bill ended up your NET COST was only .075 cents per Kilowatt hour!!! This is the lowest electric I've seen in the state of CA second only to Pasadena at .08 cents per Kilowatt hour!

1) Hang dry your clothes in the summer on a clothing line. Dryers use MEGA amounts of energy.

2) BBQ! Use your oven less. Ovens are a energy leech.

3) I unplug my microwave, tv, DVD player and everything else that requires tiny ongoing energy.

It makes a huge difference.

My utility bill was $50 for 2 months in my condo.

I added a grow box that consists of 4 fans, 2 x 430 watt HPS bulbs, 4 x T5 sunblasters, water pump, air pump and ti-meter.

I BBQ every meal. I eat lots of salads, fruit, raw veggies. I try to never use my oven. I do my laundry at the laundry mat down the street.

I unplugged my microwave so it wont waste energy showing the time. I unplugged my TV so the light wont stay one. I unplugged my DVD's so they dont show the time. I charge my cell phone at work. Basically anything that is required.

My bill for two months running the box was 72 dollars.
