being prepared with some verbal bullshit explaining why you have digital scales, ziplock bags and a grow room will definitely help. scales and bags are for cooking and food storage, your grow room is for personal use (depending of course the size)
they will take everything, even your computer and mobile phone, do not leave a papertrail, delete immediately any transactions. be safe.

i dont recommend saying anything. i would simply say "i am utilizing my 5th amendment rights, if you have any further questions, i would be happy to answer with my attorney present."

do not engage in any verbal bullshit of any kind with any leo inside your house if you are growing, that is a great way to get into more trouble then you are probably already going to be in. they are the masters of verbal bullshitting.

thanx bobbooty, when the man and customs have paid me a visit the first thing i do is try and talk myself out of a cultervation for supply rap, my lawyers in the past have been no help. what do i do? can't change.. i love this plant to much

you say nothing. you dont need to answer any questions, legally, other then verifying your name, what you do for a living, and your legal place of residence. any further questioning can be done in the presence of an attorney. saying anything else does nothing, what part of "what you say can and will be held against you in the court of law" do you not understand? lol.

I've always wondered about this topic.

I saw the movie "don't talk to the cops". An I hear everyone saying don't talk to the cops........

But

I would think there are scenarios where it could save you from a more severe charge to tell you the truth. I wouldn't say that "Don't talk to the police" is the best idea in every case personally.

If the cop is out to fuck you with everything he can than maybe you shouldn't talk to them. However you would be surprised what talking can do for you.

A police officer was in my room looking for anything mj related after finding me in the living room with a small sack. He came across my mushroom grow, which was pretty large. He asked if I was growing mushrooms. I stated that I was attempting to grow portobellos because there so damn expensive these days! He then dropped all the mycellium he was carrying and took my word for it.

If I wouldn't have said anything. I would be in some deep as shit for having lbs upon lbs of mycellium. The shrooms hadn't popped yet so they would estimate the yield to be out of control. Could very likely still be in jail if I wouldn't have said anything.

Although there is a lot of situations where it is probably best to say nothing.. I just don't think you can apply that to every situation as people try to do.

one of my experiences with customs in the past was when a friend sent me some black aphgan hash from germany in the mail, stupid thing to do but fuck we were young, any way they searched the place and found a bag of weed, i managed to stay calm and say look i can't help it what people send me in the mail, they overlooked the bag of weed and left without charging me..believe me the ganja gods must be looking after me, had suspended jail senteces given but so far (touch wood) not spent a day in the pen
