venting = less power used from a/c

a/c = more power used but no venting heat

same question also applied to venting hoods but still using a/c = this you still use alot of power (but slightly less) and you vent heat

if somebody is watching you for your electir useage or flying over with a heat radar, its your fault. not the electric or the heat.

they would only watch those things if they had suspision of you, wich like i said would be your fault.

its illegal i believe for helicoptors to even check without a warrent.

not telling anyone, and no odor escaping are really your only concerns.

ya - i get all that - but i only gave you two choices of my multiple choice question

if i have my choice and i can do it either way and $ is not the desciding factor which is safer

i now they need a warrant to use flir in court but that doesnt mean they dont still do it and just dont bring it up in court - but thats off topic

for me im extra concerned cuz police choppers fly over every night - some times 2 or three times - im not growing yet - and have not in the residence

my electric usage is already much much higher than most since my wife is sick and always sweating we keep the air screaming to reach 65 in the summr when its 95 outside

electric bill is already $600 and neighbors are 1/2 that

so its one or the other

the flir has to have already be on for a valid reason, like a warranted search and they just so happened to stumble across your shit....but you know how that goes. putting alot of faith in the honesty of pigs to not abuse there power....yeah right.

I'd say venting, 'cause LEO could "accidently" notice your op whilst driving around. They gotta have something to spark their interest for them to be interested in your energy bill.

I have read in a lot of journals that people after they filter out the smell use the venting heat to heat their houses not such a great idea now that we are moving into summer but during the winter it might be a good idea. Personally I think as long as you can pay your power bill and are not stealing power that high energy usage is not an issue.

i will try it both ways - see how my electric usage differs from venting vs not venting

then make desicion from there
