My experience with the ONA was fairly positive....
I got the one in the jar and I just took my smallest drill bit and drilled a few holes around the lid.... worked nicely but I had it in a place where the air intake could pull it in and I am afraid it might have changed the smell of my final product.... it smoked great but hardly had any smell...

Hey folks: So I've got two small girls flowering (nearly done) in my cabinet in a closet. I've used one ONA block for the entire grow and it's still working great.

I basically began using the ONA block when I started flowering. I didn't open it all the way, just had the lid unscrewed about 1/2-turn and that did great for a month or so. No weed smell, no suspicious masking smell either.

Then I opened up the ONA and scraped the surface of the product to disturb it a little and loosely set the lid back on. That worked great for the last month or so.

I've got it on top of my cabinet right next to the exhaust. When I open the cabinet it still smells pretty dank inside, so the block doesn't seem to be transferring its smell to the garden.

Can't speak for how they work in larger grows but it was exactly what I needed and I'll get another one for sure.
