For my part, I placed my grounds in a shallow plastic, lid-less container. Then I set the container at the top of my cabinet at the left. My circulation fan is at the same level and blows from right cabinet side to left.

i just put it at the bottom of the 'airexit'

it dries out fast for me, in about a day. but even when its a hard crust *lol sgonna be really difficult to clean those bowls* there is still mostly coffee smell in room*

probably would last longer for me if i remembered to add water.

Would this work during the hanging phase after harvest without making the buds taste like folgers?? Say if someone were to string them up in carboard boxes with holes cut for ventilation, with coffee grounds inside the box?

I don't know why but this is funny shit dude! folgers, ha! Honestly, I think it might help to dry the plants out, absorbing moisture in the box from the ganja, only with dry grounds however...I can see wet grounds helping to foster mold in that type of environment.

[edit] maybe coffee scented bud wouldn't be all that bad sometimes

I agree with st_n_y cat. Dry grounds should help reduce the odor. I placed two coffee filters full in my drying room. It helped.

Thanks Scrub. It helped, but did not affect the taste or smell of the bud afterwords?

I only started using the coffee recently--about two weeks before harvest and a couple weeks in the drying area. So, I don't really know about taste and smell affect beyond two weeks. But for that time, No, there is no taste or smell added.

I used to haul Reefer from state to state- no not that kind, I was a truck driver hauling Refrigerated products, Abbv. Reefer! If my Reefer trailer had a stink in it, I always kept a few bags of those pre-measured grounds in the truck- 1 bag, spread on floor of truck, swept up, no smell. No after-stink of coffee, either. Couple of handfuls for a 53 X 8 foot trailer.

Try the same on the floor of your grow room/cabinet- spread 'em, then swirl around with a broom and remove. Don't forget odor can 'seep in' to floors and objects too- this will get the odor off the floor.
