Hello All,
I have finally got a second job so I can start saving money to start my grow, I have abandoned the fish tank idea, i found a good sized mini fridge, 4.4 cu, for $20 nd I couldnt pass it up lol. Anyways Ive been in my apartment for almost a month and Ive noticed that the power will randomly go out and come back on. This has happened 3 times and Im not even there all the time. My concern is hermies, and no power means no fan which means no scrubber which means smell!! Ive been thinking of a 2nd odor control that doesnt involve power. Ive read a thread where someone put pinesol in a little desktop waterfall, I can find one that runs off batteries, but I was thinking of substituting the pinesol for ONA gel or concentrate. Does anyone think that will work?

Depending on the amount of time it shuts out, you could use a battery back up for a PC. For a 400w pc tower, and the monitor mine will stay up and running for 15 min, 10 if I try to print 2 documents (dammit!) .
Check your grows power draw and pickup a backup battery that will operate it all for 10-15 min, or have just the fan on battery backup. Odor escaping would concern me more then hermies, in an apartment

Yes the smell worries me alot! i'll smoke the shit out of a plant, hermie or not. But thats a great idea thanks for your response, i am def going to look into that. +rep
