If you have a cabinet sitting around with grow lights and pots in it and a carbon filter on it, no, they cannot arrest you on that alone. 1 seedling in there just sprouting with the shell casing still on and you are now a Cultivator and illegal in most states. There are a few computer case grows on here. You'll have to gut the interior of it and make some mods to the chassis but it can be done.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | emergency situations definitely come up. but the fact remains you have rights, and you must make sure people are respecting those rights. esp. before a grow is started. like i said the emergency entrance clause is a great loophole for dickheads to kick in your door. as soon as i occupy an apt i immediately have the locks changed. That should not bother the front office at all, nor do they need to be notified. if they are following the law, it will be obvious that with 24 hour notification you will have plenty of time to make arrangements or drop a key at the front office. so basically....put them in the position to kick down your door if there really is an emergency. if there is no legit emergency they are now breaking and entering. you signed a copy of the landlord tenant act when you signed the lease, you should go through those papers. if you want to grow in a closet thats cool, but thats the first place people look for plants. a cleverly built wardrobe really is the cats ass of grow rooms. i have a couple stealth cabs layin around just in case. just search for stealth cabs. the less experience you have in construction the more you should favor prebuilt cabs. a grow tent in the closet with some urban camo may very well be your best bet if you lack the tools/skills or desire to build something from the ground up.

you can build a small stealth cab into damn near anything. i too had to sign a drug house act thingy when i rented my house....they never came to bother but houses are different than apts. i would say in your case the smaller the better. something like a 2 drawer filing cabinet or this would be ideal in your situation. ![]() But you are looking at about $2000 to buy one prebuilt. this cab is nothing more than a lockable storage cab {like the ones they store the paint in in art class} they use spray glue and reflectix insulation to line the inside. the doors are sealed with self stick butyl rubber {not foam} weather stripping. then the light is hung, the fan and filter are installed above and kind of next to the light. one hole is cut at the bottom for a light tight grate as the intake {adorama dark room louver} one hole is cut at the top for the exhaust duct to vent out out of. install a power strip for your light and fans..poof. you are all done! most tools you need are available cheaply at harbor freight, check there site for a store near you. as long as you have a carbon filter, there should be next to no smell. esp if the cab is venting back into the room its in, then all the ambient air in that larger room will get scrubbed as well as it recirculates through the cab/carbon scrubber. there are so many bad ass stealth boxes out there. the metal locker cabinets are best because of the way the doors shut. they close against a flat surface. so all you have to do is stick on weather stripping to light proof the doors. but again, if simplicity is key i would just get a small grow tent, they have real short ones they call mother tents that work nice. either get a tent that fits inside a piece of furniture or closet. or take a short tent like that, slide it under a folding table hang a cloth over it and sit your tv and radio on it. now its just a ghetto tv stand, no one will think twice. in plain site is often the best place to hide something. if you can smoke in your house with little fear, then i would not worry about growing with proper ventilation/odor control. you can stick your entire head inside my exhaust duct and not smell a damn thing!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm a first time micro grower as well, its in a full tower server computer case and going wonderfully so far. Theres only one plant in it, and not room for any more. The smell is not bad at all, though it may be the genetics (bagseed). The trick to doing it though, is lots and lots of lst. I've had to adjust its ties every other day or so. Check my sig for more info on it.

no...at least i cant. the room my grow room sits in smells a bit. nothing outside that room does though. doesnt smell like weed exactly, but remembles a bit. it was like this with a brand new filter, and same now after 3 grows. i can surley smell it when i go into my grow rooms, "room". and when you open up your grow, the smell will escape also. so completly eliminate smells? no chance. ![]()
