I don't want more than one plant. I .want one plant only for safety reasons.

Could someone explain this to me - North Carolina - NORML

It says, cultivation of less than 5g is considered a possession... so if I cut it often enough I will just get a possession charge if caught?

Depends how they weigh it, a lot of cops out there will weigh everything, including the roots, and unless it is a seedling, I guarantee it will be over 5g. You'll be lucky if they only weigh the smokable bud, after they kindly trim it, and dry it for you.

Looks to me like if you grow anything more than a seedling, you might as well go big and just try to stay under that 10lb mark.

when you get busted they cut the plant off at the soil line, and weigh the entire plant mass after it has dried for a while.

I posted in another ealier post. I use a product I bought in Canada that is supposed to help with children and their allergies to successful control odor. It's a bright (almost like sunlight) CFL called Wellness Light Kids WellnessLightKids.com- Cleaner, Clearer Light for your Kids. It's a darn good little air cleaner, plus I just found this link The improvement of spinach growth by nano-anatase ...[Biol Trace Elem Res. 2007] - PubMed Result the substance (tio2) they use to kill odors, germs, etc is shown to promote the growth of green leafy plants. Always a plus! "Hey, not everything is always used for it's intended purposes" - McGiver .. lol

Just thought I would chime in! Hope it helps.

ti02 is nothing new. titanium dioxide is what makes white paint white.

these bulbs are neg ion generators. they dont do anything excepy make particles heavy and fall out of the air. As soon as you vacuum they are kicked back up into the air, unless you use a special HEPA vacuum.

hospitals are all hard surfaces that can be cleaned. they are designed this way. your home is not, the smell and stench will permeate your couch and any other fabric assuring it smells like pot for life.

use a carbon filter or an ozone generator if you must. ionizers dont do us any justice.

Hey Luke,

Common misunderstanding of TiO2. They do not produce negative ions, when excited by the UV they cause a natural reaction - Photocatalytic Oxidation Photocatalytic and antibacterial activity of TiO2 and Au/TiO2 nanosystems which breaks up the molecule, be it odor, bacteria, etc. My sister gave me the lights originally for my son with allergies. It sat in the box for a month because I was also under the impression it was a negative ion or ionic light. After research and calling the company I understood the product better. The additional "benefits" of being an odor killer was a plus.

Then its an ozone generator with a creative description.

uv-c is worthless for odor control, as are ionizers. ozone works well but is dangerous, just like PCO which is nearly the same thing, just different

Study on Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) Raises Questions About Formaldehyde as a Byproduct in Indoor Air

Interesting fact, the higher velocity your air handler the higher the level of byproduct that is produced.

It doesn't use UV-C. It uses the same uv that would come from any standard light bulb you would have in your home. It's not the uv that kills the odor it is the titanium dioxide (which is proven to kill odors). However, you're right too ... I guess you can always find good and bad in every product. I personally have nothing but great things to state since using it. I also found another company online The Bright Future of Indoor Air Quality! - product is pretty expensive compared to Wellness Light but the website is really detailed on how it works.
