![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think a International money order purchased at the post office is the best and quickest way to get beans from the UK and beyond. Know way I would send them cash. Domestic money orders for anything that isnt considered international. Prepaid debit cards for online ordering seems just as safe, as long as you are buying them with cash.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I suppose your correct but I have had money orders replaced before when I received a mangled utility bill that must have fallen off the truck back in the mail because the return address was still visible. I would think a money order would be somewhat slightly more efficient than cash because your filling in the payee like SeedsDirect or whatever the name of the seedbank is. An employee would be more tempted to steal cash, than something that would need to be washed and or forged to derive benefit. Im sure the note could be washed of your entrys but less a pain in the ass to take from the cash clients. You make a good point that if they were going to burn you sending a money order is as you put it fundamentally know different than cash.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ok, heres my second attempt at this. Having browser problems. You all had very good points and ideas. I'll try to address some of them. I do not have access to any friends cars to use, so thats not an option. I was reading on this discount-hydro.com shop that a few of you recommended, claim that they are serious about customer confidentiality: "On Cash, Money Order and Quick Collect Payments we DO NOT KEEP YOUR NAME OR ADDRESS. We send you back everything that you sent us (except the payment). We can ONLY reference your order by your ZIP code or by your Invoice Number. We are absolutely serious about confidentiality of our customers." This would be an option, yet I would be having things delivered to my home from this "grow-shop". The parcel service that delivers my equipment will have my records on file. I understand LEO tends to work backwards. We are usually guilty untill proven innocent. I'm just trying to cover all my bases, so it gives them a run for their money. I just don't want to walk into a stake-out my first visit. I'm not so concerned with the shop, as I am with who may be watching the shop. I dont consider myself to look "straight edge". Leaving this shop with a fair amount of equipment might draw suspicions.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I live in a seriously unfriendly county in an awfully regressive state...that first trip out of the grow shop with a 4 cu ft bag of perlite over my shoulder gave me a bit of pause. By the second bag, not so much. Especially being as I've seen dudes with carts loaded up with heaps of lights, fans, reflectors, buckets, ducting and everything in between. And, after having shopped at four different horticulture stores (cash & carry, and no toking prior to getting there), with no unwanted consequence, as well the myriad of gear I've mail ordered...like that 4' long reflector I have... I'm either lucky...or, the people that do get popped have been seriously unfortunate. Maybe the trick is to not feel and look like a criminal?? There's thousands of orders every day...endless supply of vendors on the internet...too much for leo and their strained budgets to get a bead on and or bother allocating resources to. That or maybe it really is a crap shoot and I've yet to roll snake eyes. Take some precaution...never leave or supply your name, cash only, conceal your appearance, but don't be obvious...nothing conspicuous about hat and sunglasses on a sunny day...go in and buy something not marketed directly toward mj growing and, see what happens. Good luck! ![]()

About not sweating about buying legal stuff online...did you read the post I made about that story where the guy was busted because the shop he ordered from was part of Operation Green Thumb and the DEA had unlimited and uncontrolled access to all the shipping/sales records? It's not about watching your bank account, its about watching the stores records, and the shipping companies records. I'm not trying to make you all more paranoid, like Luke and Pesci said be cautious not paranoid, but the times are changing and LEO is getting more brazen and tricky every day so we have to watch out for new tactics that used to be unheard of or shot down as bullshit on these forums in the weeks/months/years past.

![]() | Last time I checked you still have to give your SS# in the US to get a pre-paid CC ( thanks to the PATRIOT ACT). I agree with the other post, just relax a little ( just a little though, I call it healthy paranoia ). If LEO is looking at your CC statements your ALL READY FU@KED!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() | I used my Gov issued unemployment debit card to order my 150w hps & some panda film. I would never use it to buy seeds or anything specific to mj. Grow equipment isn't illegal to own, just be smart. If I were buying enough shit to start a business, I might be looking over my shoulder. But for a handful of plants for my personal use. I'm not too worried. Cautious, but never paranoid.@ I believe MK is correct, I know I had to give my SS# for both of my prepaid netspend cards I got from my local Speedway. The cards you buy from the store should be temporary, after you get it you go to the site & set up your account info & they send you one with your name on it and such...
