![]() | according to their website, WellnessLight uses a full spectrum light which should help with your plant growth. The titanium dioxide coating should help keep any negative bacteria away and reduce the odors. Here is an article on full spectrum and plant growth. Indoor Grow Lights and Light Spectrum's For Plant Growth and POTENTIAL increased plant growth with exposure to photocatalytic oxidation (product of the Wellnesslight kids). Acta Horticulturae At least that is what I have experienced. I would be interested in reading your experiences with the light once you use it.

![]() | Ok I understand the great benefits of TiO2 with with keeping the odor down and keeping germs away. However, what are the negative effects (if any) does this "film" pose a problem , is it there? Also what is the best application of them if you are currently using a 400 watt HPS-MH Conversion Bulb. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. ![]()

I think the "film" is from ozone or negative ion lighting. PCO produces radicals that stay close to the surface of the light - nothing is sent into the room which would create a film. That is why any crap or odor in the air would need to make contact with the light with airflow. I have been using them with zero negative experiences (except for that 3rd nipple... kidding) I think it is an inexpensive and effective solution to your problem.

![]() | Luke, I'm guessing my postings would be in reply to my original posting. I don't care if you buy a PCO light or not. By a HEPA filter as you stated. I was only answering what was requested and commenting on my experiences. I'll be happy to move on to another subject if my comments look "spamish".

![]() ![]() | No offence Ryan, but I kinda agree with Luke. The only places you have posted deal with these light bulbs. You have not participated anywhere else, and you seem to be pushing these lights pretty hard. I WAS interested in trying them out, now I am quite a bit more weary of them since I can't seem to find other people using them for this purpose at all.

![]() | None taken. After thinking about what you and Funk stated, I can see understand. I never had anything to contribute until this, although I've followed it for a while. There are actually a few other posts on the same subject. I don't claim to be an expert, but I actually believe in what I am contributing. I'll poke around and contribute more so my future comments don't get questioned as anything but genuine.
