maybe hes a stoner too and was trying to let you know insane electric bills are nothing unusual in your part of town.

if it were me i would place this simple call to the electric:

"Hi im your new customer Jack Mehoff, in the past week i have been visited twice by a man claiming to be a meter reader. at previous residences i have never seen a meter reader even once{most meter readings are gathered electronically these days} and i have seen this guy twice in a week. Is he really an employee of your company? Or do i need to notify the police of someone scouting the neighborhood?"

thats pretty much my story. always find a way to ask the questions you want to ask, but in a way that makes THEM feel uncomfortable. this tends to make people get a little loose lipped, trying to make there company look good....and even if something was amiss they might let it slip.

"oh, im sorry sir. that meter reader was in your area checking equipment because there have been a series a electric thefts in the area. He was checking your meter to make sure it was operating correctly and safe" blah blah blah or whatever b.s. they wanna feed you.

Never leave issue open like t hat. it will eat you up inside, trust me.

when i first moved into my house...some private contractor came by, unannounced to me. he jumped the fence, and installed a little gizmo between my meter and my house {talk about freaking the fuck out} i ran out my back door about to shoot this guy....no idea who the fuck was in my back yard. he told me he was contracted by the electric co. and was installing an updated load handler, without the update it could damage my water heater {which i might add had just exploded the week before}

Ok. So just got off the phone with my electric company. I said just as Highwalker said i should to the T. They asked me what the guy looked like and all that good stuff. I fibbed about it, to try and get them to come out about sumthin. Which they finally did. N that was that he was out there because on the 15th and 16th of every month is when my meter in particular is to be read. So, this was just a simple case of the guy doing the initial reading on 7/6 and then coming on 7/16 to do his month reading on my house. Phhheeew! I tell ya thou, when ppl start to snoop around every chemical in your body goes wild! Peace all, stay safe!

I like our power meter.... noone comes to read it ....its a computer generated system.


Just leaves your lights on 24/7...dont have spikes in your power usage ...thats what they look for

Bro I have 4 -1000s going 24/7 - 365....... for years never had a problem my total bill is about $450 a month, winter alittle more

Try to use the same amount of power every month and you will never have a problem

I also took into consideration, that when i do run my lights, its like during the day, when no ones home and the AC can b off. But the electric peeps dont kno that so fuck them
