Once they have you nailed as a source, then they use everyone who is on your calling list against you. That's what really screwed all three of my friends. Loose lips... Getting even scarier, the new laws for Meth are being applied in some states to herb. That means; They don't even have to catch you in the act any more. Of course these will be the most contested cases and they are less likely to do that because the conviction might not stick, but those new laws open the door to all sorts of misbehaviour by the government. No need for warants to kick down doors, using heresay against you, retroactive punishment for what you did before and weren't caught (pictoral evidence), etc. (oh yeah get rid of the roots!, friend had a 55 gallon drum with all his old Hydroton pellets in there without pulling all the veg matter and you guessed it...DNA alaysis proved, and they totally inflated everything. saying the estimated street value bla bla bla...made me want to stand up and say "oh yeah where?".) Of course I inhaled, what would be the sense if I didn't? (damn shit is to expensive to be waisting it.) Last edited by plasmargon; 09-03-2009 at 09:51 PM..

![]() | I somehow doubt the fuzz is going to be kicking anyone's door in over a photo of a few plants. Maybe something like the Tennessee Cave of Weed should be left to yourself. Tennessee Cave Of Weed - Video Thanks to the people who posted up good info on protecting your privacy though.

As for getting rid of it... almost any photo editing software will allow you to access the metadata and change/delete it. I would be much more worried about using photobucket or a similar program... this is much easier to trace, and the pictures you have already uploaded (to photobucket) will exist online with your info attached as long as the internet exists. Get an editing program, strip the data or change it, and upload from your computer to the forum. The Gimp is a very good program and you can download it for free... or, all cameras come with a program to work your photos, you can use that. If you do it this way then you only have to worry about your IP when you post...which Bobbooty has just assured us is safe.

Last time I heard of cell tracing been used, was on the J. Gotti case. ![]() And to make you a little more paranoid, they can also hear you through your cell even when its off, just by telling your cell provider to alternate the signal to your 911 beacon (lid of phone doesn't have to be open for them to hear). ![]() Quote:

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I called my old dealers number once. I could hear him talking as it rang. I asked if he had his phone open or something, he told me it was in his pocket as usual. Couldnt explain it but before the first ring I heard him talking. The rings were still going on though. Thats what ended my cell phone days. lol I figure Im usually with the people I care about. I can always use one of their phones if needed. Have a house phone...Screw a tracking device called a text phone. lol

Question; What are the legal implications of running a Marijuana Cultivation based website? I ran a website by the name of HempCultivation.Com that was a vBulletin discussion board based community much like Marijuana.Com, however the information was dedicated to the cultivation. This included moderated discussions of everything from germination to harvest and curing. There is no allowed discussion of selling or purchasing of anything illegal, ie. seeds, product, etc. The website is simply a place of information exchange in grow documentaion and journaling. Specifically, I am concerned with the legal implications of the RICO and MAPA (Methamphetime and Proliferation Act)acts as it relates to the manufacturing of a controlled substance, Conspiracy and/or Racketeering charges. I have always assumed this was protected under the U.S. Constitutions First Amendment, however with the recent arrest and closure of the popular Overgrow.Com and owner I now have my concerns. Answer; (in part) In your case, you don't have clients, but you do have a list of members (unless you destroyed this information), many of whom use your advertising as a means of obtaining controlled substances. Techniques are available to cross-reference membership lists with IP addresses and online advertising databases. ...there is a tendency to go after the source rather than the spinoff businesses.

"The FBI appears to have begun using a novel form of electronic surveillance in criminal investigations: remotely activating a mobile phone's microphone and using it to eavesdrop on nearby conversations." Full article here; FBI taps cell phone mic as eavesdropping tool | Tech News on ZDNet Anyone who jokes about this must not be a serious grower, this is no laughing matter.
