Absolutely. People can only betray trust they're given.

If so, how do you keep your good friends fooled?
I don't really understand this part... It never seemed difficult to me. But then I always bought nicer things than my friends. They'd have more and I'd have better.

I think I just don't make friends with people that pry into other people's business.

And do you feel bad about lying to your good friends?
Not in the slightest. Just because they're my friend doesn't give me the right to know all their business. There's their shit, my shit, and our shit. I won't even discuss one guy's stuff with another guy.

I guess I'm just not a "grey area" type when it comes to that.

Besides, I don't really see it as lying. I don't tell. I don't tell the truth, and I don't tell a lie. It ain't their business and they don't ask.

If anyone outside your home does know, how concerned do you get that your secret will get out to the wrong people?
Never tell anyone something you can't stand for everyone to know. You can build a trust with someone that will grow to the point you believe a secret is safe with them, but if anyone knows a secret you keep it can get out.

If you can't handle the consequences of an action, don't take it. Simple. I'll do everything in my power to never be discovered, but if I thought I couldn't deal with what the law would do if they found my grow I wouldn't have one.

To make a long story short, i liked to grow in pots because it was easier to control things, the downside was if i went somewhere i needed someone to water my girls, so i asked one of my good friends to do it for me while i was gone. Well, not only did he water my plants for me, but he also showed a retired cop my plants, he told me what he did and it made me very upset, the result was is the cops came and tried to take my plants, after a long talk and discussion on what they can do to me, they gave me one option and only one, i had 2 plants at the time that were HUGE! the option i got was to "make them dissapear fast" and they left. I was extremly lucky, i trusted my friend because i have known him a long time and hes older so i thought he knew better but i was wrong.

Now the only people who know what im doing is you people and thats the way it will stay from now on. I couldnt grow for a year because of what happened, things have changed alot since then so i am able to go back to growing outside, in the ground, no pots.

Keeping friends fooled:
Get some swag and keep that on hand if someone comes over or you go to them.

Keep your good buds to yourself and smoke the swag with others. In my head this works.. LOL
