  | Can you find out where a person lives just by looking at their phone? Like, why the hell would your adress be in your phone. Unless the person who found it knows you and recognized most of your numbers. | ||

| Sounds like you need a big ass dog like a rotti x pitbull or something cool like that. Even if you get it all set up and running again, there will always still be that fear of the purps returning for a second round. | ||

its easy to get some 1 adress from there phone. Just ring some 1 on the buds list on the the phone an say hi i just found this phone an your on the freind list . Give me the the adress so i can go arround an give it to them. One of your freinds is bound to be stupid enough to give it out an too embarassed to admit to it too.. Dont use your phone to take pics of your grow, shit happens. | ||

| The iPhone has a satnav system built in. It uses a combination of GPS and WiFi to give you your location and to give you directions. If either the mapping or just the WiFi internet connection were used it wouldn't be difficult to find where the phone's "home" address is on the maps interface.

| Regardless, are you sure it was the iphone ? You said you bought a ton of stuff at the hydro store.....could be someone saw you and knew where you lived. Either way, sorry man. I'd move, or try to. At the very least, don't grow there anymore. Don't worry about revenge- Someday, they will come to rob a house where the homeowner is home and armed, or maybe they'll get caught and get 3 to 5. Either way, they'll get theirs. Smash-n-grabs usually don't last too long before they get some prison time. Hope you get a better place to live.

| Thanks everyone, yea this was quite embarassing but I definately learn a huge lesson, actually a few. It was the iphone that gps'd them right to my house. I'm thinking I dropped it somewhere between the store and the car, not quite sure where though. I assume some random asshole found it on the ground, but I'm thinking whoever it was wished they never found it.. A friend I have thats in the county jail called me today and when I told him what happend he told me that 3 guys got caught with what the cops called 10k worth of growing equipment and 40k worth of marijuana. I already tore down my rooms and now its just a waiting game for the cops to show up. I'm betting they will try to turn me in for a lighter sentence. But unfortuneately for them I don't sell and there is nothing but a head stash here and thats not even a arrestable offense in this state. So karma was in the fast lane on this one, poor bastards would of had a better chance just trying to shake me down. | ||
